For Real Brother. I thought my last name was Kosugi when I was growing up. For me it was the first time I seen Revenge of the Ninja when I was 7. Only kid in the neighborhood that knew what Nin Jitsu even was. Cool vid.
I ordered the white and the black "Enter the Ninja" Ninja-To directly from JKOO Forge in China. They ship via UPS worldwide. Takes them 3-4 weeks to manufacture the sword. They look pretty good and are very sharp. The movie "Enter the Ninja" changed my life for ever after i´ve read the "green book" of Stephen K. Hayes. No matter if these Ninja -To are historical correct or pure fiction, they will always have a special place in my heart, because they were a part of my youth at 17. Ninpo Ik-Kan!
Snow Assassin ❄️ Storm Shadow's Favorite Collectible Sword🐍 I'm an 80's kid, too. I've got all of Sho's swords now. Definitely a great sword for the money! 💯👍
I like it but white does get dirty from sweat alone. Have had both good and bad experiences with longquan, the company I went to was Hanbon. I Own three ninjato 1 is Hanwei koga, another is Leonardo sword 1060 carbon steel and the other is one I bauth from wicked blades, I also own a bujinkan long handle short blade sword. And feel comfortable with doing my sword kata with them. Enjoy your weekend.
I have the Koga Ninja-To with the Kuji symbols at the tsuba and it is a fantastic sword. The blade is 1095 carbon steel and the blade smells very different from other shinken from china. The blade is very hard and not easy to shapen in comparision with other blades. The Koga Ninja-To looks very good and "autentic", They sell here in germany for around 399€ at Amazon. Not cheap but a very good quality sword in this price class. Hanwei has three Ninja-To in their line up and they all look very good.
What we call "ninja" were historically called shinobi. The ninja-to were basicall the shinobi multi-too. The sword had many uses. Since shinobi were very resourceful, i would imagin that the shinobi assassins would use whatever they could find or make their own too(or at least modify existing tools.) Im sure that a wakisashi would have been used as is or modified to suit the need of the shinobi. Im not an expert but i have learned a good deal of things from experts and what not. Them swords do look relatively nice from what i can see. I can hear sword rattle in the sheath which is in my opinion not a good thing. But i guess you get what you pay for. Thank you for sharing. 😁👍
No. Clay tempered blades does not mean they are always better. In fact, some modern mono steels (such as S5) are way stronger because there is no messing with the structure of the steel. Once you find out what steel the blade is, you can then go online and look at steel ratings, strengths, weaknesses, etc. for research. Good question!
Nice to see a review on the functionality of some budget swords that a normal person would be able to afford! Thank you!

Does it matter that there is no Hamon? I think they are both spring steel. Thanks for the review
