- Husky is NOT Happy Wearing The CONE of SHAME! Key has a sore paw pad, I have to bath his paw in medical scrub and while his paw is drying he has to wear the cone to stop him licking his paw and making it dirty again and irritating the sore. Once the fur has dried on his paw I pop a thin cotton sock on and take the cone off.

We used to call those "cones of power" because my husky used it to slam his way through the house. Walls and door frames were nothing to the cone of power. But then he would suction himself up to a wall and just stand there until someone came and helped him turn around. Poor Key... it's all for the best sweet boy.

My cocker spaniel banged into everything- including my shins to the point where I had bruises. However, he also figured out how to play ball while wearing the cone.
I nearly threw up from laughing at when Jodie said he looks like a lampshade haha
Our Otterhound mix was the same way. The year she taught herself how to fling snow at us with the Cone was a game changer. She'd chase us all over the yard sti she could hurl four snowballs worth of frozen revenge at us. And then block the door so we couldn't run back inside.
This is EXACTLY what my collie did when he got the 'snip'. Days of remorseful staring and sighing. This only changed when he found out just how much destruction and chaos you can cause in a small house wearing a mobile battering ram.
Okay, it was funny, until "Biscuit lady"/ Nan started laughing, and then I LOST IT. Been there, done that with my own guy. But with K'ey's dramatiics and Nan's wonderful laughter, this was... HILARIOUS. Oh, the SHAME (for K'ey & other doggos)... Still chuckling... 😀😀😀. Thx, Jodi and K'ey, and NAN, for this WONDERFUL respite from the horror of the world. K'ey, your face speaks volumes. ☺. Dogs don’t like it if their movements are restricted. The cone makes him vulnerable. Key’s angry expression looks very funny. When Jodie and her mum started poking fun at Key you could see he was uncomfortable, but I absolutely love Key’s expressions. When Jodie’s mum gave him biscuits at the end, he was happy again. Very good video.
