Loved the video, just ordered a Darkwave setup today. Cant wait to try it out, never rode freecoaster before or even plastic pegs. Stoked to have a bike that opens up more creativeness with my level riding.
Van I'm sure you don't remember me but I used to ride Incline Club, TomsRiver and Hackettstown with you and Garrett Burns back in the day! I was at Incline when you Ice picked the wallride! Your Little Devil part was a major inspiration for my riding back then and Ozzy's "Diary of a madman " is forever burned into my brain!!!
I recently purchased the Sunday darkwave LHD complete bike, and it is fantastic! Can you please tell me what Park tool spoke wrench size i need for this bike? Thank you, Brandon 😇
i'm still looking to replace the midschool Demolition team grips. they're like waffle grips, but not like the old moto waffle grip, they were really girthyboys but they felt great once you wore them in. odi longnecks are ok but boring.
Are 165mm cranks more convenient? I guess whips and bars should become more comfortable to do. What about other stuff and such thing as usual pedaling to the spot?
I think it all depends on your riding style. The shorter cranks seem to help the more modern tech street riders but I still prefer the classic 175mm -Van
Good bike check for sure, it’s good when a rider knows his bike. Too bad he didn’t say his TT I woulda like to known that since I’m a tall guy as well… Odyssey Clutch prototype?? This musta been a old interview??
Van does THE best bike checks. Very thorough asking great questions.
Thanks man! I really appreciate it -Van

The Odyssey Broc Grips are an evolution of arguably the nicest Grips I've ever used! Flatware Cufflinks

I like riders who explain the what and why and reason

If your shoe doesn’t hit your back peg when you pedal you probably don’t need shorter cranks
Van is the best 💯💯

Broc is riding a 21.25 TT - Van
@@sourcebmx thanks for clearing that up🤘🏽
anyone know how tall Van is? using him as a general reference of height, I can figure out the height of most other pro riders.
I'm 6ft tall. I've been trying to ask the riders how tall they are in the interviews now, it seems helpful to all the riders out there. - Van
