Hooked on these videos. I grew up behind a Barefoot Natique and it does my heart good watching you put life in the 86. Those boats have more personality than any other boat on the water. Great color scheme.
I live in North Carolina and last fall, I took my 1992 O/B Ski Nautique to C&S Marine in New Jersey. It was very very expensive. They did a great job and were able to put all the licensed logos incorporated into the upholstery. It looks great! There is still more hull work to do, but when I get the rest completed my Ski Nautique will definitely look great again!
@@MakeSkiBoatsGreatAgain I remember when Correct Craft first came out with the design and I fell in love with the appearance. There was one very much like your first RUclips Nautique (with yellow in the design) that I thought looked beautiful. It was at a lake where I grew up. It had a grey hull with yellow and dark grey incorporated in the graphics and upholstery. I've wanted one ever since. The one I have is white hull and burgundy and grey on a cream color upholstery. The open bow seems pretty small but I don't see very many like that. I also have a 1985 Ski Nautique. But for now the focus is on the 92. Anyway, thanks for making ski boats great again! Your boats are awesome and inspiring as I am over sixty years old and disabled. They give me something to help keep me going. Thank you.
Just dropped my 96 malibu upholstry off last week. We will see how they do! It was a cheaper place but my old stuff was trashed!! So anything is better😂
Just got a 1989 ski Nautique. Will he prefacing the floor in august and then new carpet and maybe new upholstery in a year or two! Watched all your videos! Thanks for all the tips!
What's the plan for the Air Nautique? I have a Sport Nautique that is virtually the same, and I'd like to replace the carpet with Gatorstep (or something similar).
Same for me. I have a 1981 ski nautique with basic seats. I would like to know if I can place this kind OK seats with much better confort and storages. And where I can find it?
I just bought a 1987 ski supreme the interior is actually mostly intact but looks dingy. If I did want to completely replace the interior what is the ball park price range?
Varies a lot. My honest thoughts are - cheap $1,000 - simple $2,000 - professional and very nice $3,000-$4,500 The 86 I just had done was $4,500. Hand measured and cut, new foam, new wood backing. Very well done but I paid for it.
Just found your channel, you do some great work!
Thank you

Thanks so much. She’s almost done. Got a few more videos to post.
love your videos man, you gave me the courage to buy and restore my recently finished 87 bow rider boat. wish i had recorded the process like you 👍
The reality is I spend almost as much time on these videos as the restoration process.

92 is one of the best years for nautiques. Enjoy it!

That’s awesome! Glad these videos could help. Good luck with the project. It will mean so much more if restored by your own two hands.
Awesome I live in Orlando
Love your content and what you do. You inspired me to make a ski boat great again. Just wondering where you get your boats?
That’s awesome man. Amazingly, Facebook marketplace has been the best place for us.
Much appreciated
Any recommendations for getting the Christmas tree studs to fit back in? I am having trouble with them.
I didn’t do the upholstery. I do know that any work I’ve ever done with Christmas tree studs doesn’t work unless you buy new ones.

Really nice done! I'm from Europe and I'm looking for dimensions for DIY of rear seat because I lost mine. Maybe you know where I can get those?

Hi there! I have an 85 SN2001. I am contemplating replacing the decals. do you mind sending some side shots of this boat? Thank you!
I’ll need an email or phone # to do that.

Where do you find these cheap boats to restore?
My wife finds these. Facebook Marketplace is somehow the best place to start.
