I’ve got the 16 plus and finding the battery life to be absolutely exceptional. Easily the longest lasting phone I’ve had.
Same. Easily get two days with my usage.
@@RJB 1 day for me but I’m binging social media and RUclips almost all day long. Every phone I’ve had before this I’ve had to charge twice as often. Including phones with bigger batteries than the iPhone. I just switched from the galaxy s22+ and I’m really happy.
I'm thinking of buying a new phone, but I cant decide which one I want to get, between iphone 16 plus and iphone 16 pro. What's your opinion on this?
@@agreatleblanc1118 depends if you care about 120hz and having a dedicated telephoto camera lens or not. For me those things don’t matter and I prioritised the larger display and bigger battery of the 16 plus.
@@agreatleblanc1118 16 plus gets my vote. I like having the larger screen and the battery life is amazing.
The biggest gripe I’ve had with my 15 pro since new was battery life. It honestly wasn’t any better than my iPhone 12

I'm in the same boat and will pick the base 16. If you care for battery, don't choose 15 pro :)
I think that really depends on how much the price difference between those two models is at where you live.. If you really care about a better battery and the 16 pro is "only" like 150$ more expensive i'd take the 16 pro..
same but the problem is 16 is only 60hz but 15 pro is 120hz

They do the test in a much different way. They don’t do that many intensive tasks unlike this video. I can confirm the 16 plus lasts me around 18 hours of heavy video streaming and social media. iPhones use almost no power when watching RUclips or Netflix lol.

I notice the difference clearly. I only use up to 60 hz, because 120 hz simply does not offer me any advantages. my 14pm easily lasts 2 days with 6-8:30h screen on time

Well iOS 18.0 had battery draining issues you should try this on iOS 18.0.1 and give the phones a few days to regulate before doing battery test.

Slight correction, the 16 pro max is physically bigger than the 15 pro max, taller and wider, I compared them in hand, also the 16 pro is bigger physically again, taller and wider to the 15 pro.

You are running iOS 18 it's not stable for some iOS phones. You should have updated all the devices to 18.0.1. all non 16 models will get some boost

I am an iPhone 14 user and the battery lasts me a day of heavy use without any problem. PS The results obtained by the iPhone 15 Pro Max and 14 Pro in this battery endurance test seem very suspicious to me.

i have a 15 pro and the battery life is the best joke going
my brand new 16 pro only gets 4-5hr screen on time. the camera and music battery drain is terrible.
My 13 Pro with iOS 17.7 takes 4% battery in 1 hour listening to Spotify with display off in wifi

Don’t run max brightness, turn off features you aren’t using. My 16 plus is exceptional.
Did that and nothing helped
Not to mention i used low power mode

Go for the plus for the battery, i regretted buying the 15 pro for the battery

@@FLM_OFF if you are a heavy user go for the 16 plus, 120hz is not necessary and all the camera features (i got the 15 pro)
I got the 16 plus and battery life is exceptional. Although the entire lineup this year all have great battery life, 16+ and pro max are a big step up tho.

What you also need to take into consideration is that new iPhone actually get shipped with more than 100% battery health. They get shipped with 103 or 104% battery health so that people don’t see the battery dying in the first 3-4 months.
So the difference between 100% and 93% can be even larger than 7%

Bruh I had 100% battery health for a long time but like 1 day ago it dropped to 99% and I’ve only had my phone for half a year
Don't stress about it even if it goes even lower the difference of screen on time is not insane, I have 85% battery health on my 13 Pro Max, I have been using it for almost 3 years and its still lasts over 10 hours if i watch YT and play a game occasionally for 2-3 hours
It’s good down to 80%. Below that is when I seriously start noticing. Normally around the 2 and a half year mark of usage for me. I always replace the battery then hand the phone down to my younger brother as a free upgrade so he got a iPhone 13 now.

Thumbs down because benchmarking drains the battery faster than the normal apps that normal people use. So your test is actually not accurate

Wait for a year bro , apple qlways does this, last year 15 pro max had a humungous battery due to fresh ios 17 md slowly nd gradually after release of more updates nd also getting more closernto iphone 16 , the gradual decrease in battery performance is apple's tactics for buying a fresh device with hardly any better upgrades but just a reason to burn ur money

This was a tougher test. But it only had 93% health and maybe wasn't a good version.
you dont use geekbench or bench heavy full load. dont use bench or test cpu or other. it longer
