This is worth more than gold. I’ve been struggling with my Driver for 10 years, this really opened my eyes that I wasn’t setting up properly and allowing the length of the club time to square up. Awesome as always
Thanks, When Adam said you square the club face with the setup and not the swing, I became instantly enlightened. These are the nuances and subtleties the better players are doing to set them self up for success. Thanks for the comment and watching! We appreciate the support! - Gabe
Great channel for golf instruction. Appreciate how you have students of all types, male, female, young, older and juniors. Your instruction is consistent for all.
So many solid nuggets in one video. You hit up with your set up. Hip bump with stance width sets the weight distribution for wedges and driver, a wider stance allows coil behind the ball, the backswing is smooth like loading a bow and arrow, imagine several balls in front to extend through to target, new tech is to fill gaps, gym work gains distance, and be present in the moment 100%. Wow Adam, mahalo! And best to Vanessa.
I've been watching all of your videos lately and through Adam's words to his students I've learned how to really feel a lot of different aspects of my swing, from weight transfer to swing path. I can't wait to take these lessons to the range, your advice has really helped my long iron game but my driver shot still eludes me.
Amazing! I just found your videos. First you got me on the plane. Then you got me rotating better than ever. Finally your driver video is sick! I’ve been struggling to launch my 9 degree driver. Like most I’ve been hitting up on the ball.. thanks for helping this Canadian golfer. Great stuff. You’re students are fortunate to have you. Way to go!!!
Thank you so much for the kind words! That is exactly why we do what we do we want to help as many of you as possible play the best of your life! We appreciate you tremendously!
Hi Adam love this site. I have learn a lot from your instructions. Can you do a video on how to prevent your driver and long irons from pulling left for a right hand golfer?
This is so useful to me. After my knee surgery I've had some minor nerve issues in my left leg down to my foot making it really hard for me to feel where my weight is going especially with driver. It just makes me get stuck behind it so often making me hit tons of low bullets or low hooks. Hopefully these will help make a check list to prevent that. Keep up the great videos.
So many good points in this video that resonate with me. I really like the 'give yourself space to build up speed' as someone who tries ripping it right from the top. Thats a great mental image. Also surprised how low she tees it up for what you're trying to achieve. Most of the ball below the crown and still launches it.
first off.. she has an amazing swing! second, i tried these setup tips today at my Club. was easily hitting it 9 yards further, straighter and higher (with a tiny draw). hit 13/15 fairways... great info here! now i need to work on my over drawing irons lol
New subscriber here and love your content and instructions! You had me at "Best Wedge Lesson Of Your Life!". QUESTION/SEEKING CLARITY re: low point of the swing; at 10:01 you start talking about the low point/top of the pendulum. You say "nose and the sternum are the top of the pendulum... the low point is underneath the top" but I swear there was another video (I can't find it despite looking the past 30 min) where you say the low point move towards the lead foot from PW to driver which is a teaching I have heard in other videos since the left hand holds the club and so left shoulder is the bottom of the swing.
Exactly, resources are so important. Most PWI have all the resources as to where it’s counterpart HBCU don’t have those resources in fact they have pretty much no resources at all, but they have really good players and with more resources would be amazing for those golf programs at HBCU on a consistent basis. not just a donation but continued resources like a forever donation that continues to create more resources for generations…
Speaking of slow play….I play usually with my brother….the two of us do 18 holes in 21/2 hours 2:45 max….I noticed the faster I got….the better I played.
She still looks like she's 60/40 but towards the front foot, I don't think she quite gets that weight on her trail foot 60/40 at address, when she bumps forward she allows her top half to creep over towards the front foot, but she's very close! Great teacher!!!!!!!!
Haha….you got her in a wider stance but just before she pulls the trigger, in her pre shot waggle she shuffles her feet back to the initial stance. Its a fight when introducing something new. Great vid, keep them coming…
It's so true Mark. I see it time and time again. I think a lot of what I see Porzak Golf teach is very simple, and Adam when he demonstrates it, looks simple. Then I see how hard it is to change patterns for people, but that's what it takes to go to the next level!! - Gabe
In terms of setup, I have troubles with the ball position when I setup for the driver. Most of time, my balls are fade a lot. I was told that my ball needs to backward and my stand was too open, but I am very confused how could I check those things up before hit? Is there any simple reference point to check? And also I prefer loose grip, does it cause my ball slicing?
Make sure the inside of your feets are on the outside of your shoulders, ball should be on the outside of left shoulder. Make sure hip bump is an inch forward and back and the rest is all are other check points! Keep watching, we know the vids will help!
The slow play argument really pisses me off and I'm not going to speed up for anyone. I'm gonna do what I need to do to feel comfortable over the ball.

Great videos all the time Adam! Would also be nice to see these nice golf swings with a Trackman side by side. Keep up the good work!
I’m being completely honest here….she has one of the most beautiful golf swings I’ve ever seen.
No doubt!
True that
Great channel for golf instruction. Appreciate how you have students of all types, male, female, young, older and juniors. Your instruction is consistent for all.

Adam you are to me one of the (if not the) premier golf coaches on RUclips! Your knowledge and teaching style is just brilliant!
Thanks!!

Another great video with more golden nuggets!
Once again, great teaching! Setup tips are worth GOLD!
Exceptional teacher! Building blocks to getting the right form is awesome!! Thanks for sharing..
I love how your thumbnails look like the cover of Beck’s Odelay album! Great golf advice.
Hahaha
Hi Adam love this site. I have learn a lot from your instructions. Can you do a video on how to prevent your driver and long irons from pulling left for a right hand golfer?
Thanks for the comment Bernard, will try to do soon. Thanks for the question!

Your are so good and so incredible at explaining!! Impressive!!
Love your integration of setup attitude, re intent,..easier to remember setup and attitude with driver..Stressdr

I learn so much by watching this lesson, I hope I can retain all the great points which where made
You got this Peter! You’ve also got the masterclass and the FB group to ask any questions!
first :10 seconds... mind blown! thank you
2:35 you talking to me? felt he said that line exactly to me.

Can you do the hip bump forward with irons and other woods too. Thanks for replying 🙂
Golden tips. Thanks for sharing. It appears that she is aligning the ball towards toe end of the club head, correct?
Great videos but it would be great to see shot tracer on the down the line shots. 👍

first 10 seconds alone is gold
Thinking Heel to Heel keeps me Off the move Toward the ball which makes me come Up early! Thanks
Very cool. But I think you should use a tracer so we can see the ball flight
We do in our new content!
Speaking of slow play….I play usually with my brother….the two of us do 18 holes in 21/2 hours 2:45 max….I noticed the faster I got….the better I played.
Less thinking, more swinging lol!
Really want to see the video that how the coach teach beginner golfer like myself, all students in the videos are almost close to pro.

Thanks again!
What do I know when she was matching spine angle I’m thinking a little closed and you said a little open. Please explain.

I noticed the same thing! She is fighting against the change...

@@PorzakGolf thank you so much!
why the front foot not flair out a bit.
Do you coach hackers as well or just better players?
Hahaha! We work with golfers of all levels!!!
That club she is holding is ridiculously long.. Or am I wrong
The slow play argument really pisses me off and I'm not going to speed up for anyone. I'm gonna do what I need to do to feel comfortable over the ball.
