Yes. the first 2 splinter cell games were very Entertaining/realistic. . amazing in how splinter cell pandora tomorrow actor dennis haysbert. is the voice actor to potray irving lambert.
It wasn't ahead of its time at all. Everything this game 'innovated' was done by Thief 4 years earlier except better with more atmosphere and a far better, deeper, more intricate setting.

@Dean Siroit metal gear solid almost introduced me to splinter cell I guess you could say, but I believe I only played the first metal gear... splinter cell and games like ghost recon were huge obsessions of mine, splinter cell especially.
Man this game is intense. So many times i was on the edge on my seat because of the alarms. Furthermore that sudden "thump" sound when the enemy detects something gives that mini heart attack to the system.
it is amazing, I played this game when I was little and I loved it and with so much detail. Looking back at it and actually seeing that this game came out 2002 I realized how awesome this game must have been when it came out. I mean for a game in 2002 this game must have had one of the best mechanics and graphics out there :O I played it like friggin 8 years or so after it came out and it was still feeling like an awesome lookin game!!!
Nightmare Trooper, because you are not equipped with it in the first four levels. CIA HQ is the first level in the Splinter Cell game where you are equipped with thermal vision goggles, an SC20K Assault Rifle, a variety of protectiles including: sticky cameras, ring airfoil rounds, and sticky shockers.
I remember when I was 11 it took me an entire year to get through one part of a specific mission. I forgot which but I remember it involved a lot of windows.

Sam fisher saga was like sypton filter in ps 1 XD also petition Ubisoft continue his story even Micheal Ironburns - Fisher voice actor is no longer with a a project he quit a while a go already:(
Oh man, I always wondered what Lambert was talking of in the intro about the fan. I always entered the hq by the pipe next to the entrance but had to be aware of the scene with the van.
Too bad you didn't show us all the data sticks. Those make for some really good flavor text, and whoever doesn't like it can just skip it. Not like it's hard, just tap the right arrow on your keyboard to FF 5 seconds or tap your mobile screen twice to FF 10.
Arfat, Keith is right that you have to hide all bodies in the shadows or else it is mission fail. You will trigger alarms if you don't hide the bodies and or being spotted.
13:25 Well, either someone in the Splinter Cell Conviction development team was lazy, or it's just a pure coincidence, but the name "Tom" and "Reed" is within the same data stick.
Joshhhuaaa- the hd collection released for ps3 are pc ports of splinter cell .not consoles .so any special features/missions found on ps2 were not present.which doesn't get to me one bit
Really! this is best steath agent ga,e ver! MGS is bullshiet! they really should re-hd all these and think sequance continuation... even main voice actor SaM is no longer with it if game ever continues he was quit when Sprintell cell: Blacklist, released already
PS has cut content in all SC games due to processing power incapabilities in comparison to the home device for the franchise Xbox, I'm pretty sure. Double Agent is the only game without large chunks missing and altered storylines that don't make sense
I was having the same problem, I don’t fully understand how the game works but it seems that you’ll have to make sure to interact with the computer in the server room again, if you’re still having the same issue go back to an old checkpoint or restart the mission. That’s how I managed to continue.
You have to get to the cia server room and use the computer to update your objectives Then get back to the elevator behind the turret shooting range and you can use it. I had the same issue with it and it has been resolved with using the cia server room
you have to wait until the one guy finishes his monologue.. in case you don't know it yet.. You can also run at them and knock them both out before the second guy can set off the alert..

I will always say this. This game has aged VERY well and was SO ahead of its time. Such an amazing and realistic use of stealth.

Probably one of the best concepts in the history of the series. They need more CIA levels and government headquarters infiltration missions.
How about more Splinter Cell to begin with? However, god knows if it's even a good idea to let them make another one...
No way... I really hate this mission
Best game series there is. Nothing compares to Splinter Cell

@Dean Siroit nice, I'll look into that! Thanks! 🤘
@Dean Siroit nah, I only ever play the first MGS when I was super little, I fell off after that unfortunately 🙁
@Dean Siroit I prefer splinter cell
Just played this level for the first time in 8 years, I never felt so rusty.
But it was still awesome wasn't it.
Yes it was
Wolfman71691 I was playing through some tough parts and was thinking, "how did 12 year old me get past this"?!
And I just happen to find this comment again playing the level, 6 years later, lol
Man this game is intense.
So many times i was on the edge on my seat because of the alarms. Furthermore that sudden "thump" sound when the enemy detects something gives that mini heart attack to the system.
Beating this stage is still one of my top gaming achievements. Tough as coffin nails.
What are you having problems with?

Just be happy that you started from the first Splinter Cell.
@@williamstone7544 what's that supposed to mean?

Trying to beat this in 2015. I can't imagine how hard it was to beat it when it first came out. Seems impossible.
mj22jk And on console there was no quicksave. Only check points. On PC its a lot easier because of this.
I have quicksave for splinter cell trilogy ps3. On ps2 however there were no quicksave
I quick save every 30 seconds on ps3 lol
Same here, I hate how you quicksave but you be on the next level. And than you have to restart over again
Anyone still trying in late 2016? :p

yeah same, splinter cell and hitman were too good at its time even to this day

Admiral Ackbar Was it this game
Admiral Ackbar
The one part with MANY windows that I remember off the bat is the Georgian Defense Ministry, the second level. Was it that one?
Admiral Ackbar probably Kalitenek. Or whatever. I couldn't beat Chaos Theory becuz of those damn drones.. Smh. Finally beat it last year. Lol

Well someone has to collect intel for XCOM.
I love playing it on PC. The fact you can save anytime is awesome. Faster loading times. Faster reload from last save.
This was a horrible mission as midway your mission would fail because you didn't hide bodies earlier on. Great memories
i do remember on the ps2 you start this mission inside the building rather outside
