It’s a great idea Ads. For nearly 18 months now I’ve been powering the Fridge Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine and Microwave oven directly from an EcoFlow Delta Pro and one extra battery (7.2 kw total power). Top up by 800w solar panels and also AC recharge through the night when cheap rate electricity. (more solar in summer and more AC electricity usage in the winter) An additional benefit, and where I justified the cost to myself, was this set up also protects me from localised power cuts.
So, do you have it wired to your home circuit breaker or do you plug the appliances into it @mikeyeats1378 ?
@@HermanHitstheRoad Appliances plugged directly into the EcoFlow, but obviously it could easily be any other Solar Power Station. I also have the flexibility to take the EcoFlow away in the Motorhome for a 240v supply whereas if I had installed a home battery system it would be permanently installed.
what are the recharging costs compared to the metered costs you would have payed i.e. savings?@@mikeyeats1378
Hi guys hope your both well its strange not having a video from you in a while
Hi @jamesmcmillan5796. Thanks for thinking of us. We are both fine. We just haven't away recently. We have a maintenance video coming out tomorrow (Sunday) evening
Brilliant
Thanks @jamesmcmillan5796 👍👍
What’s happened to you guys. Hope you’re ok. Not posted in a while x
Thanks for noticing and caring, @Happyinmyautotrail. We are OK, we just haven't been out and I've not had the urge to video anything since coming back from Ireland last year. However, we have a Motorhome News video coming out on Sunday so watch out for that 👍👍👍
