Part 2: • Eating Only What We Ca...
Part 3: • Eating Whatever We Can...
Join me and Jeremy, One Wildcrafter on a 3 day 10-item survival challenge in the remote wilderness of Northern Ontario. We will work together to forage and fish for most our food requirements. My Gear (Shop and Support): www.thewoodedb...
Jeremy's Channel: / @onewildcrafter
We set up a very simple tarp shelter with paracord, and we fish for our food in the lake. We use just 10 items to survive the wild by catch and cooking whatever we can find in the woods and water. We have a saw to cut firewood, and a ferro rod to start a fire. We use the canoe to reach remote wilderness lakes to get enough food to survive and put our skills to the test.

Don't know if Canadian bass bite the same lol, but here in Ohio our go to bass bait is a simple purple worm, they go crazy for them.
Pls do another 5 days on the ice pls but a different lake and place
@@donniev8181 for me in Canada they just bite worms
Hey man I watched the show for an hour just for the very end for you to eat the fish come on dude
I usually just go to McDonald’s
Need to shout out/bring your brother on more trips. Lost mine and wish we did more together. Love modern self reliance, is how I found your channel. Great content
I agree. I lost my hunting partner and best friend, my Dad unexpectedly this past February. There is so more I wish I got to do with him. Worst thing is, the last time I physically saw him was Christmas day. Got to do a live chat with him on Super Bowl Sunday, but that was it because there was no visitors due to Covid. Worst part is, he only went in for physical therapy on his legs and dies frim neglect.
He's not a camper!
@@leonardcavaretta905 you better sue that facility hard!
Would love to see Kevin out and trying weird foods
Love seeing the dynamic duo out together... You and Jeremy could just sit back and talk while knitting Bushcraft winter sleeping bag liners from Beaver pelts and I'd love every minute of it 😂
Well, now that I can get behind. Just give me 20 more years and I'll take you up on that.
@@TheWoodedBeardsman by God's grace if I'm here I will be watching! Lol
@@TheWoodedBeardsman 20 years? I bet you can make a complete fur outfit in one trapping season. Make sure it make it a video series
And he pulled the Red Green card.
Wild edibles? Sounds like my kind of party
YES!!!!! Jeremy is back on the channel… Jeremy needs to be in more videos again…
I've been a smoker for like 10 years (yes, I know it's bad for me) and can honestly say I've never had a bic lighter fail on me. 3 or 4 mini Bic lighters probably weight about the same as that Ferro rod. If a Bic runs out of gas, you still have flint to make a fire, I've done it many many times
Oh I forgot to mention, one regular sized bic will light up to 3000 times before it runs out of gas. You'd be hard pressed to start 3000 fires with 1 Ferro rod
I’ve camped out on lakes with lots of eagles and you can hear them splashing all day catching fish but probably less frequent then the bigfoot hurling rocks you heard ;)
Thank you for the escape from this fucked up world it’s Much needed even if only an hour!! full stop 🇨🇦
It sure is messed up these days. So glad I can escape. Happy to have you along.
Jeremy’s channel deserves more subs and views. Great of you to promote him. Keep doing it
Jeremy's screen netting was the best choice of item. 100 %
You said something early on that i think would be a great name for these excursions, "SufferFest" you can call them that and just add a 1,2,3 etc as you do more.
SufferFest 1
Fantastic video man. Would be awesome to see you and Joe Robinet do a video together.
FULL STOP!
This is going to be a great series!
Haha all the extra items just call it survial camping with items dont say 10 i laugh everytime you pull out another item and say this doesnt count towards the 10 items haha love the content 😀😁
Did I miss something?

I miss these long survival videos! Loved them!
Great to see Jeremy, love these challenges, awesome video can’t wait for the next
This is a full circle momemt! I just got done watching wilderness living challenge season 1 and here you guys are years later still making survival challenges and hanging out!
Yeah, this is very much like how we started, but we figured it out so much better. Better image, better plan, better understanding of how things really work.

You guys suit well together. Enjoying a lot your videos, especially the snow ones!
Rule of thumb in survival: NEVER FORGET THE WOODOBO lol. love your vids.
First and I love the videos I just subbed because I love the survival vids.
We are very excited and really like your creative ideas, made it enjoyable to watch and keep watching, hope you continue this great idea forever.
Can we get a Wooded Beardsman and Zach Fowler 30 day Sasquatch hunt? Please!!!!

Hey Chris, thanks for your content, i've been locked in my bedroom for over 70 days here in Sydney, Australia and its helped with my depression. Thank you mate ! keep up the content.
Hope you get better, hang in there.
@@TheWoodedBeardsman Thanks mate ! will be camping and hunting with thanks to your knowledge as soon as i can !!
Thanks Chris! 1 hour is not enough to learn and enjoy your video 👍🇵🇭
Those bass looked delicious. Keep it up guys. Live wild
next week: magnet fishing, time to get all those hooks back!
Awesome! Thanks for all that you do. You’re so informative
Me and my friends love your channel so much we’re doing a glorified survival challenge for my batchlor party going down the ausable river in mi
Dude, have fun!!
@@TheWoodedBeardsman thanks man will do thanks for your videos your full of knowledge
Watching from Indianapolis Indiana. Love it. Been waiting for this 1
Biggest fan! Keep it up!
I love your long survival videos. They are truly one of a kind. Masterpiece! Im sure you have had things happen out there or saw things that you didn't know at the time that was sasquatch related. Wilderness in North America is so vast and people can't comprehend that. They think that finding sasquatch should be easy
Love the content awesome video. Only criticism is 10 items lol more like 50 but its all good brother.
Man it's good to see you guys together again.
Grass hopper for bait 😊
Glad to see some new content
Finally found Jeremy when he's not busy.
Well done, looking forward to the rest of the series.
Thanks!
A great video Chris. It’s always good to watch you Jeremy doing the survival challenges. I’m with ya on the knot tying skills. That’s something I’ve always struggled learning new knots. I’m definitely looking forward to the next installment in this series.
I'm good at learning things I'm interested in...not so much things I'm not. Guess that goes for everyone.
I completely agree. 🤙
I’m a fan of waterproof matches or diamond matches. But mostly I just carry a lighter. Even a dead lighter with the guard removed will throw a good spark.
Mullein seed can be used to catch fish, I've read. Although I understand that it is illegal and unsportsmanlike; it depends on the seriousness of your survival I suppose. Also, the leaves are soft and make nice "cowboy toilet paper" - that I've tested and is true. Great video
1 hour of bad dad jokes? okay, sure, why not.
Little tip of you jab the stringer threw the fishes bottom lip instead of the gills they stay alive longer. Great video
So amazing..its real nature adventure..!
Even in catch n cook vids no one can escape Raid! Shadow legends!
That fire starting was painfull to watch untill Jeremy showed up
Awesome guys. Dang it I watched these backwards. Kinda like knowing how a book ends before reading it 😂. I love watching all real life survival vids and learning something new about foraging. One of my biggest passions. Even though we live in the suburbs I incorporate wild edibles in our meals all the time. If God forbid we have another depression era my children would even know how to survive without having to buy food in a supermarket. It's a blessing to have food growing and living in the bush (wild), unfortunately we do have a lot of predators in Africa so places available to do this sort of thing are limited. Unlike bears and coyotes , lions, cheetahs and hippos are out to get you and you wouldn't stand a chance. It's very challenging living wild here. Can be done however since many Africans still live a nomadic lifestyle. Foreigners for the most part think that South Africa is all bush with wild animals all over. Our large game are in reserves and all fenced. We do not have wild animals roaming around the streets 😂. When we go camping or want to try our hand at survival we have to pay for the privilege. You pay for every animal you hunt and in the few places untouched by humans it is literally illegal to hunt at all. Luckily nature has its own back and you still manage to find edibles even within the city. Much love and be blessed 🙏 Any advice as how to get your significant other to go out and live off the land? My husband's idea of roughing it is buying KFC 😂😂😂 Plantain leaves and seeds are a super food. The greens are packed with nutrients. Broad leaf Plantain made like kale chips are delicious and the seeds are a very good source of fibre and used for constipation all over the world.
I can't wait to see tomorrows!!
Love this series
Fish looked good
My stringer!
That's a family heirloom, I'll be round at 6 to collect it.
So adorable, 2 tough guys collecting flowers🥰
Keep on with this great content, i enjoy every vid👍🏻
Bubble's has the correct terminology for the "sasquatch", it's samquamch.
Ever run into sasquatch out there?
I ran into him, he threw a tree down onto road, i got out of car to chop up tree & move it out of way, i seen him hiding behind bushes watching what i would do, then he just disappeared
Great cliff-hanger!! I'll be watching with great anticipation for the next in the series!
My first thought for shelter is use. That canoo flipping it upside down and building off that to save on calories. Ive done it with an old boat.
Yeah, that is a good idea too. Only reason I didn't is cause I had the tarp...and it's also a very heavy canoe at 100 lbs, so it's really hard to move :)
Parabéns Pelo Canal e Que Deus Abençoe a Todos!!!!
LoL I'm puckered watching you eat those chokecherries! We love chokecherry jelly! Not so much raw!!
Awesome video again! I also wanted to tell you that Bob Hansler is really needing some help ! So please check on him . I'm sure he would appreciate it . I know you did some challenges with him too . Thanks for posting this video !! Take care and stay safe my friend!!
Just started watching this one can’t wait for this new series you guys are awesome
I wish to visit there in Ontario. It is so beautiful place to relax.😀👍👍
Yes, but do plan to drive far enough North to really see it.
@@TheWoodedBeardsman 🙏
Very good video. Couldn't watch it right away. The chokecherries that I'm familiar with is from a tree. The chokecherries are black when ripe and there are several berries growing off a single stem from the tree branch. The foraging portions were great. I need to learn more about the wild edibles in my area.
Hi from Syracuse NY USA brother and thank you for sharing your thoughts and adventures and your family and everyone else
Thank you for the video... that a great one!
YOU GUYS SHOULD HAVE SAVED THOSE BASS HEADS FOR SOME LATE NIGHT CAT FISHING ON THE CANOE. CATFISH ARE SUPER FATTY!!!
We thought of that, but the mosquitoes were terrible at night.
praying for a new one of these adventures w Jare soon!!!
It always bummed me out you never got selected for Alone. You and Jeremy would do great. Better than some of the people on the show for sure.
You have to put that bass on the Barbie
Looking forward to watching yall slay this challenge!

I`ll be looking forward to watching the rest of your trip.
Thank You for sharing your video, and bringing us along.
Glad to have you!
Next time for a item get a fishing tackle box bc that counts as one item
big fan of your vids
instead of i know its not cheating but it will also save money and if you dont wanna use the lures use live bait and bring a shovel

Great stuff and heres to another adventure!
Thanks for taking us along!
CHRIS! I think I know what was making that splashing noise on your camping trip. It might have been a bird. Try to look up some videos of American Bittern calls and see if that was similar.
Yah man 👍
No Canadian Jam Knot though 😁
Full stop
Mine all jam up :)
Dude I ate 2 Eurasian collared doves, a sand trout and a giant blue crab for dinner. You've inspired me to catch and cook my own food again like I used to do in the 90s
Dinner of the royals!

Here we go let's do it!
You guys need to get together more!! Cant wait for the next video!!
Thank you for still staying true from your beginning. Love your content and a daily watcher for new content
I'd much rather eat Pike, than just about anything, but WAY more than freaking pondwater tasting Largemouth Bass, YUK.
