Cheap fuel, insurance and taxes. If I lived in the US I'd totally buy a Japanese fire truck just to own a Japanese fire truck. Probably cheaper to run than most full size pickups too.
You are right some are called Dyna while some are called Toyoace, in Japan Toyota tends to do that, having two are more vehicles that are the same with different names. Examples: Toyota Alphard and Toyota Vellfire.
Cigarette burn in the fire truck. I can't be the only one that finds this ironic
If you took the bed off with all the fire truck stuff & mounted a tiny home or something it would be so dope
CUTE little fire truck!!!!!
3:22 A 'siren' is an audible device and what you were pointing to are visual devices (lights).
Those decals look really cool
super cool!!!, I'll have it for Machupicchu town in Perú we need one.
Keep an eye out for my Toyota Comfort if you do come across it one day at the auction centre
i like this grade indicate "shoubousha" fire truck haha
Do you know how much weight capacity in the back and the dims of back? Tyia. Good video
Cool video. A 4WD version would be cool.
Estimated cost of a similar fire engine and info for shipping to South America please.
Neat Truck. Hey man how is the Co-void19 situation where you are? Are people on lock down?
?
Japan by it's own laws can NOT lock people down. They can strongly suggest or recommend.
Duct tape does that after it sits a while with some heat. The edges bond to whatever surface they are sitting on.
This is cool but you would think that you could move the hoses to the inside of the lockers and cab so they don't get thrown away before shipment.
who is importing all these firetrucks doe... nd Why
What is the cost to buy and ship to the USA?
Carl Spackler typically around $2000. Check out Derek’s website and contact him directly for more info.
@@MaximumDIYGarage what's the adverage price for for the Truck itself?
Carl Spackler oh, sorry I do not know that. Please check his website or one of the Japanese auction sites
@@MaximumDIYGarage That's only to get it to the port- add at least another $1k-1500 for customs fees ($500-600) and registration fees ($500-1000).
WestSide1207 thanks for clarifying! I was not aware. So, pretty much add $3,500 to the auction price to get one to your garage?
Why are you going to do with one of these in the US? I don't see the point, other than being a bit unusual.
Conversion to camping vehicle or a perfect vehicle to haul your motorcycle or jet ski around
Cool factor at car meet. US fire trucks are not attainable at all. Those are Huge compare to this.
