I love when the Halloween theme kicks in when Rachel takes the wheel, it really fits.

But what truly is funny is even Earl kinda knows something is wrong before the skinny guy with the hat knows! He standing there looking straight ahead enjoying the ride it seems. The other two guys are exactly small either. They are fighting and get stabbed and tossed. When you see the second guy get stabbed you see the skinny guy in a hat looking straight ahead lol. It's hysterical, even the way Micheal kills him. He just tosses him like get out of the way I'm climbing up there lolololol. Also, two more things funny about them is when they first left the bar. Nobody knew anything yet and one guy outside who didn't even see the news says "It's going down Earl" lol like nobody knew anything yet. Earl didn't even say anything yet....And I always wonder why Ted Hollister was sneaking around in the bushes lol. He must have to piss instead of saying YO it's ME HE MOVES A BRANCH AND SAYS NOTHING!! Kinda like part two, not one patient or all those babies are seen earlier on left the hospital after the explosion. The patient buzzes the nurse if you remember after 90 percent of the hospital staff is dead lol. That person slept through everything other than whatever they buzzed the last nurse alive for lol
I like how when the 2 guys are fighting him the 3rd is just standing there unaware lol

Every bit of this movie is perfect and I wish we had more Halloween movies like this. This Michael was extra creepy too. Danielle Harris was amazing. SHE NEEDS TO RETURN TO THE FRANCHISE ASAP. Tired of Laurie vs. Michael all the time, it's been done to death. This is the real Michael Myers. The nightmare at the end of every one of our dreams. The Boogeyman hiding inside of our closets. Michael doesn't care about killing or carnage candy. All he cares about is spreading his fear around Haddonfield like a virus. Michael really felt like Haddonfield's own phantom in this. Like he's been floating around with the mist and that's a great aspect of this film. You don't see the eyes behind the mask. What we see, is just darkness. That's what Michael Myers is. A representation of what we're all afraid of. The unknown.
I would take this Michael Myers over the weak broken down version that looked so weak in Halloween Ends

1:48 always loved that moment. It reminds me of The Hitcher, the original 80s one, they filmed it 'like a nightmare'. It feels like it never ends, it only gets worse, it keeps going and going. Can you explain how? Not really, but it effectively keeps you drawn into the nightmare

It's just assumed now that he was hanging on under the truck. It makes sense. Unless he can actually run super fast when no one is looking. It's one of the many mysteries of the franchise.

Rainbow Boy wen they was driving on the road notice it start to get real foggy and that’s wen micheal appear I think wen they stop on the road by the police micheal probably was hiding in the woods at that moment then wen they pulled off and drove into the fog micheal probably hitch a ride cuzz it’s kno way he was under that truck the whole time

The best is the one guy who just looks straight the entire time! The other two fat guys try fighting. The second Guy was too fat he couldn't get up in time cause clearly sitting lol. The skinny guy the hat was either drunk still or deaf otherwise there isn't an explanation lol. Even, Michael doesn't bother killing him or stabbing him. He just picks up as to say I wanna get on the roof now get out the my way lol. Even Earl heard them fighting cause tried looking back lol. But he sure knew when the skinny guy with the baseball cap is no longer in the mirror lol. Also, Ted Hollister in the bushes decided to stand there as they all lined up to shoot him. Instead of saying YO EARL< IT"S TED!... He just brushes a few branches and says nothing lol

Thanks, the main reason I asked you to post these videos (besides nostalgia for vhs) is because the original Anchor Bay dvds from late 1990's/early 2000's have a strong blue tint throughout the movie, but the Divimax dvd master (and Blu-Ray) has a "normal"/orange (for daylight scenes) and purplish (night scenes) tone. Most people said that the closest digital master with the original colors were the ones from early Anchor Bay releases and that the Divimax master was a "revisionist" and was never used before on any home video. Since this videos were taken from the 1989 Fox VHS, it shows that maybe the original colors were tinted blue (digitally) for later home video (90's) and early Anchor Bay releases.
Also, when Rachel tries to get Michael off the truck, for some reason some early Anchor Bay versions doesn't have music. It cuts off the music in the shot were Michael first tries to grab Rachel by the window, and it doesn't starts again untill Michael falls off the truck. The Fox VHS/Divimax DVD and blu-ray versions restores the chase music.
I also have Halloween 5 on VHS!

Michael Myers evil powers were on full here in H4- nothing can stop him. Teleportation - super strength- H4 put to light just what he really is capable of.
@Michael Myers in Halloween. He's by the clothes line. Then he's gone. In H4, when all 3 fake myers dudes ran away from the Sheriff's car,, as the car drove off, he appears when before that there was noone there. On the rooftop after rachel falls away from myers and Jaime checks on her there he appears on the ground, that only took place in a matter of just a few seconds. What did he do? Jump? The beerbellys truck left the school with jaime & rachel, they are stopped on the highway by highway patrol, after the trooper gives them directions to the substation as the truck drives away the trooper is flashing his light at the truck there is nothing there. As the truck continues down the highway at what, 50, 60 mph?- they suddenly drive into a mysterious, foreboding fog and bam, all of a sudden out of nowhere us Myers coming upon them all from the bottom/ back of the truck. How'd he get there? Pretty awesome eh?

I know right the story it’s what makes this sequel worth watching and plus they lie about the mask why put the original Michael Myers mask on the poster and then give us a different mask overall this Michael Myers mask is better than Halloween 5’s mask.
Pay attention, halloween kills is going to do the same thing except on a bigger scale. Tommy doyle will help lead a bunch of angry mob to find and kill michael. One involves a jazz festival in haddonfield to lure him out.
Its a Plot point in the next film.
So they are just ripping off this movie. Awesome.

Very disappointing that the mob were that incompetent throughout the film, it was quite entertaining to watch in H4, but I always wished they took that idea more seriously. They did just that in Halloween Kills, but somehow made the characters even more stupid. A real missed opportunity.
The scene where they layed a trap for Myers was so cool, and I was hyped to see Micheal get his (temporary) comeuppance… until they started beating him up one by one instead of all at once… not to mention, only 2 of them had guns… and if I remember correctly, one of the guys who did, proceeds to fire his gun and hit another guy in the hand, _absolute clowns._ Obviously the reason they did that is so Micheal can fight back and escape into the night, but still… come on…

I was okay with this movie until this ridiculous, nonsensical scene...he pops up from behind the truck bed (which is pretty ridiculous on its own - how did he get away with that one? No one saw him?? lol)..starts taking out the Hillbillies one by one without anyone of them knowing he's doing it....in the back of a truck bed,, flying down the road LOL...pretty ridiculous
