i am interested in constructing with these panels, but no one seems to know much about these in uk including architechtects and structural engineers. why is it not used in u.k. is it to do with short life span of panels or other drawbacks i am not aware of? what drawbacks are there that one needs to consider before evaluating method of construction, as these seem very cost effective but i am puzzled why they are not adopted here in u.k?
Yes. it is now available and Jindal is the company producing the meshes. Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi already have some buildings and houses built using this method. Just introduced in Hyderabad too.Only local workers trained in these construction methods are not yet available but if a few owners and builders get bold and start this. it will pick up like hell. Hopefully some builders may soon adopt and word will spraed.May be an year atmost.
