I have this pack and use it as a field pack for my job as a field scientist. I love it, the suspension system is great and it does fit on the hips perfectly. Once you get the fit dialed in, it’s insanely comfortable. I’m a big fan of the flat wide outer pocket since I carry a clipboard and tablet with me. Good choice!

I've tried many different packs and, for me, this one is the most comfortable so far. Carried it with about 25 pounds of weight on a three-day hike of the Roan Highlands on the A.T. in October 2019. Good external storage pockets. Great compression straps to secure the load close to your back. The dense, foam lumbar pad does a fine job of helping to support the load. This pack can handle a thru-hike if you're a weight-conscious hiker with the right gear, who doesn't need to pack the kitchen sink.

Dude for less than $100 that looks like a great deal! I have thinking about getting another pack for hiking/camping and I like that one a lot. Thanks for showing us.

You mentioned fire starter material - laundry lint in a small ziplock bag or other light weight container. Just a little lit with a bic will encourage fire

Very nice looking pack. I know some people love a big dump compartment and a few exterior ones. Others like a smaller dump pocket with more organizing areas. I have 1 of each. Haven't decided yet which I like better. If you decide you don't like the trecking poles and aren't going to use them if you would like to sell them cheap I would definitely be interested. For health reasons I am interested in a pair. Currently use a walking stick but am finding sometimes it just doesn't work where I want to go. I am glad to hear you are going to create or buy a first aid kit. Always a great thing hopefully you never need it but it can save you if you do. Kind of like insurance Lol.

A first aid kit is very cheap insurance haha, I’ll let you know on the trekking poles! 👍🏻
