Mord is unironically broken. If you NEED ganks in order to win your lane (which you can only do pre-6), you know your opponent is op
also useful tip (for melee ad champs)
build Serpant's Fang, 50% shield reduction is huge vs him. your welcome

thank you for this. i absolutely hate mord with a passion and this guide has helped me a lot.
The issue I have with mord is his spinning ring that pops up and deals like 500 to 1000 damage every 3 seconds.
And once he gets rylas you cant get out of it without a flash or dash
This is more of a don’t die and feed more guide then a how to counter him from being more op xD

As a Morde main, if by any chance Serpent's Fang is viable against his team, then it will also severely cripple his shielding/healing capabilities (his W) so it is a very good item against him
I’m surprised they didn’t say that in the video, very good against shield heavy teams
It would be nice to name some champs that work well in countering him, I watched the whole video waiting for a recommendation

@@xj856 Since Warwick is immune to cc when he holds q, Morde's ult is put on cooldown. This also works with Sett ult, and Zoe's sleepy. Have fun wrecking havoc on the Rift :)

How can I know that Morde wants to ult me? I need be holding Q before his R? Sorry, dont understand guys.
His damage doesn't fall off. He will still 1 shot any squishy champ late game as they don't get to build tanky items. The only option appears to be QSS.
Even if you try to build tanky items on squishy champ it wont help vs him.
Plus it will cut your damage.
@@Rin8Kin I just don't understand juggernauts and bruisers in league. They build full tank and kill squishes in 3 seconds. They say their downside is mobility so you just space and don't directly fight them but there are many with decent mobility and many ways to increase mobility, ghost, flash, move speed items etc. Once they get on you it's a full combo with CC and you die as a Squishy.

So, in my experience, you have to bait his e and kind of place yourself along your minions to blunt his q.
He is a broken but straightforward champ.

Just played against fed morde. I was Kassadin. We both had around 10 kills and similar farm. I dodged every single skillshot. He just walks around and kills me anyways.
I think you aren't aware that you can also dodge AA's - some rioter on copium
How I counter Mordekaiser:
First buy QSS and get flamed by team
And if you lane against ??

Very important thing: MORDE IS NO LOGNER COUNTERED BY QSS, HIS ULT CANNOT BE CLEANSED AFTER ITS DONE, GET OUT THERE!

So you have to build 3 things just to deal with this champion? QSS/zhonya, anti heal, and anti shield... Great...
Or pick renekton his empowered w 1st broke all shield on champ then deal dmg 3 times

@@teentriumphnthrive I’m actually looking for someone to shut my Morde down. Only champ that has been a challenge was Tryn & a Shen. But I stomped them both late game.

as a morde main, when you hit with his r, just run around in circles, morde isnt that fast, that is how i survived when i mained master yi

If he ults at a narrow place, he can hit autos and get that movespeed aura making it easier to stick to the opponent

2 years later and Morde is still Broken AF. Wish riot would remove Rylais... Basically feel like as a bruiser top main my only hope to beat Morde is to outright permaban him or have a teammate who has enough ranged damage to poke him or have a %health damage teammate with CC like WW to wreck him.
Basically Morde lane just feels like okay, lemme just farm and not feed and try not to fall too far behind in CS cause this big throbbing wad of a stat-stick auto wins the 1v1 by default every time unless all his spells are on CD.
NGL I think Morde is stupidly unfair RN. And has been for a while. Absolutely needs nerfs. Removing the QSS counterplay was a mistake by riot.

btw riot super broke nautilus for me the build i tried is the new ap mythic and the legedary plus demonic embrace and hourglass super tanky with a buttt tone of damage.... try it out and tell me how it gone super curios sorry for speeling errros im lazy...

En resumen sino compras QSS o eres muy tanke vas a morir si o si en el ulti de mordekaiser (balanceado por supuesto) incluso aunque falle todas las habilidades ahora esta esa build asquerosa con nashor asi que suerte adc mains
Pero bueno la unica solucion optima seria no dejar que se acerque o hacerle un buen kite asi no tiene buenas chances de tirar un ulti y sacar a alguien importante de la team fight, ya lo logras resistir ya lograste lo maximo
Vine a este video luego que un Mordekaiser con una asistencia me haya diveado siendo Kayle fallando todo y matándome solo caminando, espero poder encontrar algo útil, esa cosa literalmente le hacía cosquillas mis autoataques y la torre le tiraba rayitos felices que tanqueaba con la W, ni para jugar safe porque salía con básicamente la misma vida con la que entraba a torre xdn't

@@justsawney7877 Mira mi unico consejo y mejor recomendacion en esta season es que si te sacan un heroe asqueroso tenes que sacarle algo mas asqueroso todavia por que sino la vas a pasar mal.
No es ser negativo es lo que riot logro con su equipo de monos que tiene en diseño y balance.
@@Raven-kl4il Es que podía sacar tanto Renekton como Voli, me manejo bien con los dos y pues uno de ellos sigue siendo útil en late, la cosa es que quería probar Kayle para bueno, poder usarla en ranks por lo hipercarry que es pero nas, como dijiste Rito se pasa por el que no ve la luz el balance de su juego y queda F para los que no son beneficiados con eso

If u are not able for it, wait a day then try it again
