As someone who plays a ton of Morde, watching Alois Ult the Vayne around 39:00 was very funny. Hard facts when playing Mordekaiser. When you ult Vayne, she isnt locked in with you, youre locked in with her. Every Morde player learns it the hard way at least once.
@@ivyxsu Play the champ you struggle the most against in pvp or something, you will grasp things that will help you in different situations. I tell you this because there is no way of helping you with vayne's E, every situation is different.
You know what the league community needs? More youtubers like you but on every role. WWe got sinerias on jungle that explains a lot but you explain literally EVERYTHING. You dont stop talking during the video (which is a good thing). Keep it up!

@@Smoltor Yes I have like 90% winrate with him now, about 20 games played. I feel like I'm doing well but Alois always comes up with stuff that makes me go "My god why didnt I do that before that's so logical." So really interested in what he has to say about my new main :)
@@Esyldra "Yes" you mean no, you have only 20 games played and achieved a 90% winrate? I have been watching your videos for some time now, and I have learned things that you can hardly find anywhere else on this platform. I really would like you to make a guide or elo climbing video on Jax, I knos you did one somewt recently. But the champion has changed so much in that short time. ❤❤❤
Great tutorial! The examples of textbook laning, playing with a plan, when and when not to use the ultimate, and playing against champions that counter Morde made for an outstanding tutorial. Thanks for posting this 🙏🎮🤘
When you asked us to like the vid, it was a really reasonable and fair tone. I normally brain fog and still don't do it when youtubers say to like a vid but I remembered this time because of this. Thanks for educational content Alois.
Man you’re the best lol youtuber. I was a jungle main for years from silver to gold hardstuck. I watched your league content since like 4 weeks and i went plat 3, 3 days after i started playing top with your tips. For now i’m on 75% wr and i’m looking forward to my coming journey. Ty man❤️ You’re a hero
ngl the ranking system is also a bit inflated rn. hardstuck plats are now hardstuck emeralds for example... BUT U should prove me wrong and go even further beyond HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! (sorry its a dragonball z joke)
Ion even play league anymore but seeing someone being so entertaining and especially able to pass on their knowledge on such a concise way is always a treat to see, hope the series kicks off
If you want a survivability option for facing botrk stackers or troublesome high dps anti tank champions, Sterak's Gage can be a good option since the damage is *current* hp based, so it will do less damage when you're lower hp, and the shield doesn't count towards current hp. Not the most ideal item for Mordekaiser perhaps, but it does synergize with the health stats from the other items he likes to buy usually since the shield increases based on bonus hp. That, and the AD you get isn't completely wasted on him since he does have to auto attack a lot. Frozen heart is completely fine too.
once again with the silver game banger, thanks for explaining the mistakes and talking through how to get back in the game as well as how to lead the team, super handy and helpful, appreciate you boss
I just started playing Morde just recently and this sums up the gameplay pretty much on the dot sometimes I get overconfident on how strong Morde is and die so I have to keep in mind not to overextend and throw the game
great series, i like how u explained the match ups & the tempo, we need some information about items more often in hard match ups. about champion (trundle- yorick-fiora) split push gide
That whole saga at1:25:00 ish is low elo in nutshell. In loads of instances I would never follow as the Ahri did. BUT I've been conditioned to do so - because it goes 1 of 2 ways. 1. The toplaner understands following is wrong and gets on with lane. 2. The toplaner flames you for not using brain, or following laner, rages that they expended flash (or dies because they didn't look at map), holds game hostage or just runs it down. I'd say number 2 happens a good 60% of the time. So I just avoid the guaranteed LP loss and follow, even if its wrong. My mental is good, but like 60% of games getting hard flamed for trying to execute 'FAhdAHmenTOhs' well, and my team not really understanding and flaming is hard. So I do sometimes just run it with whatever my team pings. Same thing with them doing barons or taking towers when its extremely risky or suboptimal. back in the day we used to call this gameplay "follow the idiot" because the idiot was going to do what the idiot wants, you're only chance of winning is maybe helping the idiot succeed.
Hey Alois, i was wondering about something specific, could you learn or give tips on how to draft properly ? maybe like basic tips that for you seem basic but not maybe for everyone ? love the content
IDK if this is the true assessment, but I think Riftmaker is really essential on Morde, especially in a matchup against stuff like Teemo and Yone, giving you more sustain and survivability, which is why I think the 2nd game in Silver was tricky.
Morde is my go-to "hehe funne" champ especially if theres ad mid+jungle, I cant express my excitement to see someone who actually has skill playing him 😊
There is one thing I have to point out that even Alois doesn't seems to point out or maybe not even aware of, is that Morde's ult spawn can be manipulated by distance to the enemy. The ult prioritizes Morde being at the edge of the realm, instead of prioritizing the enemy being at the center of it. You can easily cut off people from going towards to places you don't want them to, like their tower, by placing yourself between them and their tower, then being as close to them as possible. If done right the wall will spawn right behind Morde with nearly zero space to get behind him.
This serie is amazing! forget about the people hating on you because of smurffing, i get smurffs on my games every 3 games, at least thanks to you we are learning (a lot)... besides, riot always says that same chance for you to get an ally smurff than an enemy smurff, so that balances the karma right? Hello, I think I'll stick with one tricking GAREN to learn the game. I played it in S2 and S3, and had fun. Often my friends would ask me to play GAREN when they were in a losing streak, and I think it should be a decent challenge to master a champion with demanding mechanics, where you can't miss your point and click ults, and have to flash-dodge soraka's Qs.
Would love to see you cover illaoi in one of these. It's basically the only champion I can play and do well with in ranked, so would love to improve it some more
Been master with morde only for a few seasons and this is exactly what he should be used for, hes by far one of the best toplaners in lower mmrs. Hes really easy and straight forward good power curve for most times of the game so its approchable, carry potential tanky wave clear has poke sustain intuetive kit. I cant think of a better champ if youre in anything below diamond toplane
Man every time I watch your videos It makes me want to keep playing league (top as wel) And then i go play league and i lose every matchup. I dont know how you guys do it. Edit after watching: Amazing plays as always.
In lower MMR, everybody wants to be the carry.... noone plays the engage (maybe the sup if you're lucky) but I would love to see you play this series with an engage top laner. It's one of the hardest things to do playing front line for your team in low MMR, and even if you do they will constantly flame you for not taking 25 turret hits with 4 of the enemy around because a squishy's gone golden and your assassin mid thinks it's a good idea.
As someone who plays a ton of Morde, watching Alois Ult the Vayne around 39:00 was very funny. Hard facts when playing Mordekaiser. When you ult Vayne, she isnt locked in with you, youre locked in with her. Every Morde player learns it the hard way at least once.
