They are roughly a little over a year and a half old. They are playful, but anything with that much mass and muscle requires respect when being handled.

We butchered right there too. 2 acre gardens, well water. It was the best life. We had a dairy herd, made butter, farm fresh eggs, fresh side. I regret not relishing every moment. I’m not that old. In the ‘70s. My kids were 4H and showed polled Hereford. Life was good. No vax threats. Now I’m a nurse , and life is totally different. That’s why I treasure my memories and this channel helps me to go down memory lane. 💜
@@brown_eyed1 I'm so jealous. I buy beef 4 miles from me and chickens 30 min. I can everything from jam to whole chicken. I'm older and wish I knew now what I did then...
