Great video, Jonny. You now have 135K subscribers, which is great, as most Thailand foreign vloggers struggle to get to 50K. It was not so long ago that you reached 100K, so the 35K came very quickly. I think by the end of 2024, you will have 200K. Great video Jonny and Som. The hotel looked great. Have you ever stayed in the Grand Fortune Hotel in Ratchada? That is by far my favorite hotel of my wife and myself. It has an Onsen sauna facility as well, great pool area and I've never slept in softer beds than in that hotel.

The Tribe Beach Bar reminds me of a high end beach club in Bali with the prices, minimum spend and lounges. This Bangkok version is on the fifth floor of a shopping mall!
It's ok Gary i don't think we will ever go back, I prefer Sing Sing Theatre for drinks. But tribe will go off over Songkran so i might check it out again.

I don't understand real estate developers. With all the new led technology that exists today thru out major cities all you see is steel and glass structures.How boring.

Great video guys ❤that bar looks amazing 🍻haha don’t worry about the school kids they are cool as, i caught a train a few weeks ago from don Mueang to surin for 8 hours on packed train with heaps of school kids.. their a crack up lol its amazing how far some of them are travelling to school like hours and hours, alot of them getting home after 8pm 😮

Absolutely beautiful place Johnny I got a question for you I’m traveling to Australia in late March taking a cruise out of Brisbane for 31 days I will be in Brisbane for three days. What do you suggest I see while I’m there?
Hi Micheal, I’m not really that keen on Brisbane to be honest. I am from the Gold Coast about 50 mins drive from there and it’s a really nice coastal city. I would recommend spending a night or 2 on the GC and maybe the last night in Brisbane. You can also catch a train to the Gold. coast that takes about 1 hour so you could also go there for a day if accommodation in Brisbane is already booked. Have a great trip 👍😊

I went there 1st January, but sadly farangs have to pay for coming inside.

Lol, the same exact thing happened to me recently in Phuket, a group of school children were walking by and one of the girls stopped me and was asking me questions ( I think they just like to practice their English ) … but man I felt so creepy talking to her I couldn’t get out of there quick enough ( and I didn’t have a camera in my hand….lol, … must have been ten times worse for you )

it's all part of life in the cities. when I drive over the bay bridge into san francisco, I say, and now we are entering a different currency exchange rate.
For the inexperienced it is. Go there every year with friends. You can get great value, if you you know. Great restaurant and shopping. The street food is amazing.

This is the worst hotel we ever stayed at in Bangkok and i keep wondering why it has such a good review on Google. Thanks to people like you I guess. The location is good other than that there was nothing good in this hotel. Most of all, the hotel room was dirty. The tub was useless as you said will take a whole day to fill the tub. The shower with only that fix shower head. And the toilet doesn't have drain so it probable was hard to clean thus the many stains in that very light tile. Disgusting actually. The pool is just a little bigger than the tub in the room and it is next to the main road and entrance to the hotel. It is a 2 star hotel claiming to be 5 star and 5 star price.
