Tip for shuffling small numbers of cards. Put the deck face down on a table, mix them all up chaotically using hands to move them in contact with the table. Regather into the deck.

To be honest, I didn't know Love Letter was that popular either! It seems a lot of people here are familiar, which is awesome. I can't wait to share more of my collection with you all :)
Couple of things, each person needs their own discard pile, because if there's a tie at the end whoever had the highest total wins the tie. Also, when you pick up the guard at the end that's the end of the round, so the one with the princess wins.
So since I was playing against myself, I tended to just place them in the same discard. In all the years we've been playing this, I have never seen a tie happen! The chances of that happening seem so slim to none.
@@JubileeWhispers yeah, I've been playing for a few years as well and we've only ever even got to the end probably three times lol. Though I guess it's just good game design that they've covered all the bases.
Hello, how are you? I don't want to be a hater or something. But, in 22:05, technically (Player 1) cannot use Baron's effect since (Player 2) is protected by Handmaid's effect. So the result of that turn is that the Baron get discarded, finally resulting in the end P1 with (2nd) Baron and P2 with King; finishing with the same result. Anyway, i liked the video. Keep going! : )
I really would loooooove tutorial and board games videos!! I loved it. Actually where I live theres a coffe house with more than 300 board games and people go there just to spend the day playing together!
There's a few places like that around here that are a lot of fun to go to with friends :) And I always try to check out board game cafes when I'm in a new city! Last one I went to was on the pier in Brighton, UK, and I enjoyed some coffee and played Ticket to Ride, a lovely memory :)

Be careful though! While I don't claim that my voice has magical properties that can instantly put someone to sleep, I don't want to be a distraction while people should be focusing on the road. I definitely don't advocate listening to ASMR while driving!

I don't like to do things chaotically 😰 All the cards have to be facing up for me!
I play this with my students all the time.
It's a great intro to Masquerade and then Coup.
The 10 player version is perfectly balanced.
