Absolutely not leaving, your channel. I love channels with authenticity, not perfect endings for each exciting anticipation. Delayed gratification and all that. it certainly felt like the Universe was saying, 'No' to you buying one that day.. It must have been difficullt on the drive home and an anticlimax. Natty with Bekah, was adorable to watch and hearing Emery's adoration of the 2 week filly and her mama. The story continues and we still have Sioux to follow, carrying Oliver's offspring. And all of your other beautiful animals on the farm. Soon be swimming in the river time! ❤

No one is mad. You had a budget and should be applauded for sticking to that budget. Also, you taught your children a valuable lesson that we don’t always get what we want.
So true. An important lesson that not a lot of parents teach their children these days. And then those children have big problems when they grow up with their finances and sticking to a budget and paying their bills. Then they turn to their parents for loans and even move back home to live!! This seems to be becoming the norm now rather than the exception. Look what happened when you got Oliver. you weren’t looking for a Clydesdale, but you fell in love with him and so did we. Because of that you were able to bring him home for all of us to love. When the time is right and the horse is the right one Oliver will have a companion. Who knows, someone could end up gifting you the perfect companion for Oliver. You just never know what life is going to hand you. For those that are upset with you just ignore them. They aren’t the ones who have the responsibility of training and raising whatever horse you get. Things will work out exactly how they’re supposed to.

I am not a particularly religious person but I do believe in waiting for a feeling and I do believe that what is meant for you will not pass you by. So I commend you on waiting for that sign, that feeling, and for responsibly sticking to a budget you set for yourself. Not everyone has the strength to do that when faced with something they really want but is monetarily more than they planned for.

When I was on the hunt for another horse or dog, if Plan A fell through, Plan B would come into play - if it is meant to be, it will be. At some point the stars will align, I'll find what I am looking for, it will work out for the best. Same with your situation. There is one out there with your name on it so you just need to keep looking until you find her.

I was fortunate in that my Great Pyrenees could pick out her puppy from a litter. It was so sweet to see her and the puppy she chose to have that initial contact touching noses. Do not worry about people being mad as you know what is good for you. I enjoyed learning about the horse sale. I watch your channel for good news and reality which can be challenging ( I don’t use bad news as a description). God has a plan if we listen.
If I have learned anything in life, it is that God's timing and plan is always better than my plans and that everything happens for a reason. And Emeri, your camera work is absolutely wonderful. I agree with you 💯 and not buying the horse of an owner who would not even give you a minute. That shows you that the Lord was with you and that was not the right horse for you and that horse probably has issues that they are not telling you. That door closed for a beautiful bigger brighter door is just down the way waiting for you to open it . Don't worry about the Chanel, you are being responsible and caring loving horse parents and buying a horse like that is a huge responsibility and should never be rushed into. You did the right thing . Can't wait to see who comes into your life .

I'm disappointed and bummed that you weren't able to get Nattie, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. I pray the Lord will lead you to the right one. And no I am not mad. Do not worry about people being mad as you know what is good for you. I enjoyed learning about the horse sale. I watch your channel for good news and reality which can be challenging ( I don’t use bad news as a description). God has a plan if we listen.
If I have learned anything in life, it is that God's timing and plan is always better than my plans and that everything happens for a reason. And Emeri, your camera work is absolutely wonderful. You should see what I do with a camera - heads are usually partially missing, either that or feet. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.😉

I agree with you 💯 and not buying the horse of an owner who would not even give you a minute. That shows you that the Lord was with you and that was not the right horse for you and that horse probably has issues that they are not telling you. That door closed for a beautiful bigger brighter door is just down the way waiting for you to open it . Don't worry about the Chanel, you are being responsible and caring loving horse parents and buying a horse like that is a huge responsibility and should never be rushed into. You did the right thing . Can't wait to see who comes into your life .

But as disappointing it was for you all to go home empty handed this time it allows us all to see another nail bitting auction in the near future. Lol

Besides learning so much from you you really reach our hearts.❤ Suggestion: would love to see more of Becca's interaction with the horses. Her obvious love, gentleness, and firmness are such a draw. She is atleast as watchable as you. And Emri - please have her sing more! What a voice! Your son appears to be either shy or naturally reserved. He will come into his own and we will get to see more of him when he is ready. You, your family, and your horses (especially Oliver) have a gift for drawing us into to your world.

When it comes to horses, ya'll know what you are doing and you are trusting GOD in all this, so you can't go wrong. I don't feel let down or mad that you didn't buy a horse, and for those who did, they need to get over themselves! I really enjoy the shows. Clydesdales are so beautiful.
