- We made it to the 2024 National Clydesdale Sale!!! This is a 3 day affair. Thursday, Friday, Saturday. This video is Saturday, AUCTION DAY! And man, we are excited! There are so many beautiful horses but we have eyes set on a few special ones and we really feel like Nattie will be coming home with us. But Jasmine is absolutely perfect, the right size, color, age, temperament = she is bred and will have a foal! Lucinda, Rose and Peaches and SO MANY MORE are up there on our list as well though!!! Come along to see if we get to bring a new horse home to HOMESTEAD HORSEMANSHIP!

Amazing how I can watch a video and have the same excitement and anticipation then the let down and disappointment right along with you! I know how it makes me feel so it must be unbelievably emotionally draining for your family! I also know it will happen, so will be with you on your journey until it does. So love Oliver - can't wait to see him when he meets his new lady! Onward and upward!

Why should any of us be mad??! lol! Thank you for including us in your exciting journey----I just feel a little let down on YOUR behalf, especially with Becka and that sweet Natti----but WOW. I loved your little talk in the car with us driving away----you folks just got rained with SIGNS from God and the Universe. I Totally live my life by prayer, listening, paying attention---and Acceptance. Nobody here is mad ! This is real life and real finances which aren’t easily replaced if we spend more than we can afford at that time. It will happen when the time, the mare and the money is right 👍❤️
Absolutely not leaving, your channel. I love channels with authenticity, not perfect endings for each exciting anticipation. Delayed gratification and all that. it certainly felt like the Universe was saying, 'No' to you buying one that day.. It must have been difficullt on the drive home and an anticlimax. Natty with Bekah, was adorable to watch and hearing Emery's adoration of the 2 week filly and her mama. The story continues and we still have Sioux to follow, carrying Oliver's offspring. And all of your other beautiful animals on the farm. Soon be swimming in the river time! ❤
Good Point!!!! Oliver's first time as a Daddy horse is coming up!!! I can't wait to see Sioux's foal, find out is it's a filly or a colt-----little half-Clydesdale. wow.

The right horse wasn’t at this auction. Your horse is out there and you will find her, just like you found Oliver. Keep your chin up.
No one is mad. You had a budget and should be applauded for sticking to that budget. Also, you taught your children a valuable lesson that we don’t always get what we want.
So true. An important lesson that not a lot of parents teach their children these days. And then those children have big problems when they grow up with their finances and sticking to a budget and paying their bills. Then they turn to their parents for loans and even move back home to live!! This seems to be becoming the norm now rather than the exception. All these girls were gorgeous & any one of them would be a total score. I have no idea how you could choose just one! However, y’all are the only ones that make your budget & work your farm. We’re just here for the fun. None of us should attempt to influence the purchase or spout off about what you should or shouldn’t spend. The right mare will come along. 💖

Personally I don't think you need to worry about your followers on this channel being upset. You were taking us on the adventure where the outcome was unknown. You said that up front. Also you tried -- RESPONSIBLY, I might add -- to buy a horse. It was an authentic experience. Period.

Brought tears to my eyes that Nattie could not be yours. I fell in love with her too! But much respect that you honored God by seeking his counsel and staying in your budget. Sometimes we don't understand but like you said, He sees the bigger picture. You show that you still trust Him even when He says no or not yet!

So sorry your dream didn't work. You followed the Lord's leading, that's number one! Hats off to your family. You put the Lord first. The Lord will supply the right horse for your vision of where He's leading the branding so to speak, of your business/farm/ranch. The horse He provides will solidify that branding. That's what I believe God will do to honor your family. Now the fun will be in seeing how God does it. It will be your own miracle how God works this out!!!

This was a wonderful experience that you shared. Love your channel and how well you care for your horses. I always look forward to your new videos. The Lord and Holy Spirit will guide you and bring the right horse for Oliver and you. It would be fun if Oliver could be able to pick out his lady friend and I know this is not possible. I was fortunate in that my Great Pyrenees could pick out her puppy from a litter. It was so sweet to see her and the puppy she chose to have that initial contact touching noses. Even after seeing the avalanche of "not mads" on here I couldn't help myself and had to add my own! Besides learning so much from you you really reach our hearts.❤ Suggestion: would love to see more of Becca's interaction with the horses. Her obvious love, gentleness, and firmness are such a draw. She is atleast as watchable as you. And Emri - please have her sing more! What a voice! Your son appears to be either shy or naturally reserved. He will come into his own and we will get to see more of him when he is ready. You, your family, and your horses (especially Oliver) have a gift for drawing us into to your world.

Certainly NOT mad! Disappointed, yes, but not mad. You know your limits better than any of us. As many here have said, “If it is meant to be, it will be.” So, we are all just going to have to be content to watch Oliver and all of the other beautiful horses on the homestead. 🥰 There are more foals to come, so you guys will be too busy to be disappointed for very long. I so enjoyed seeing all the different colours and sizes of Clydesdales. All were beautiful in their own way but the mare and foal peaches and rose were absolutely stunning and precious. I could watch them for hours
It's fantastic that you felt that this foal was yours and you got her! Fate plays with people and animals!
I am not a particularly religious person but I do believe in waiting for a feeling and I do believe that what is meant for you will not pass you by. So I commend you on waiting for that sign, that feeling, and for responsibly sticking to a budget you set for yourself. Not everyone has the strength to do that when faced with something they really want but is monetarily more than they planned for.

When it comes to horses, ya'll know what you are doing and you are trusting GOD in all this, so you can't go wrong. I don't feel let down or mad that you didn't buy a horse, and for those who did, they need to get over themselves! I really enjoy the shows. Clydesdales are so beautiful.
