The pianist is Diane Juster. She wrote this great song. And many others. I saw a show of madame Reno at the Place des Arts, in Montréal, a few years ago . She did this song, at the end of the show, with the final, at capella, without her microphone. 2500 persons gave her the longuest standing ovation i ever saw.
She was 60 years old in this video. Just that fact amazes me. One of the greatest French singing voices, as long with piaf, brel, fabian, aznavour and Dion. Thanks for this.

This is , and was, public knowledge. My mother actually went to school with her, same class. How does she do this? She once said that her father was hospalized for a disease and the doctor told him that he would never be able to have children again (he and his wife already had two). On the day he received his leave from the hospital, Ginette's mother went to church and prayed to God to give them a third child and to "please" give that child a special gift and I will consacrate her to you". That third child was Ginette.
