J'aime beaucoup, c'est très original.....Excellent weekend pour toi. Amitiés.
Christian
Thank you, my friend. And an excellent weekend to you, Christian. Amitiés.
this is honestly really impressive...
you realise that its not an actuall person and that its just an animation?
Camilo Tobias it was a person tho, a artist actually did this, they recorded it and now play it
@@camilotobias254 it’s not an animation, it’s a recording! So there! Ha! Got you after a whole 5 months of you thinking you were right.
@@georgehorscraft2026 hey how u been it’s been a year since you wrote this comment and I’m just checking up on u ,u still alive?
@@georgehorscraft2026 George..? You there?
This guy did this for 12 hours to create this loop. Every moment is precious. Appreciate what time we have. Because there’s no guarantee that you’ll have the next minute once this one is gone forever.
I just finished watching a video explaining it
Actually it's was several days with breaks watch as he returns to the same position allowing for a loop to change the clock. There is a lot of misinformation out there. This took days to film with breaks. It resets when he bends over to grab paint. That's where they cut the video
Once it is wiped, it is lost forever; never to be experienced again. Every minute in life is a unique experience. It is so short, in fact, that we do not even notice it creep by. This is such a beautiful form of art.
Lost forever, until 24hrs later
@@Blackcard_XCII you repeat the exact same events of your previous 24 hours as they happened? You must be alone in the world.
@@tosin0911 Nope, I'm with about 8 billion other people on this rock floating through space that we call earth.
@@Blackcard_XCII have fun
This guy's should go live his life then, instead of locked in that clock
Its a recording of 12 hr......which is played in 12hr. Basis on that clock...... it's just amazing art..
He is literally serving time 😂
That's funny
@dabin88
🤣🤣🤣
“Is it 2 o’clock or 3?”
“No. *_It’s m a n o ‘ c l o c k .”_*
The painter is actually a 12-hour-long recording, that gives a convincing illusion that a human is standing inside the translucent clock, busy at work as the hands go around.
How exquisitely beautiful! And what do we each accomplish in that minute, as each one is wiped away and you can never get it back.
This man is with focus, commitment.the man with sheer will
Absolutely brilliant, the way this artist has come up with a clock (!), that has the effect of time slowing down. No longer at Schiphol these days, but on the outside of a building very close to Paddington Station, London. Truly timeless piece of work.
It's back in Schipol now 😊
This is amazing. I had many realizations by watching this video. I felt the pain and sacrifice of the people in poor countries, working so hard, sacrificing their own time for their families, to work in order to provide the needs of their children. Staying up late no matter how sleepy yet continue working no matter how tired we are BECAUSE WE HAVE FAMILY TO FEED. 😢🥺 The clock with the man inside symbolizes HARD WORK, PERSEVERANCE, PATIENCE, GOOD SERVICE and SACRIFICING OWN HAPPINESS FOR OTHERS. 😢🥺
should collect your tears and quench the thirst of the poor too.
is it really that deep though?
@@bionapseblamed4610 depends on perception. Anything can be anything.
I think this think not only happen in the poor's coutries. I live in Italy, I have a good job but my life is how you have described. It's actualy the human condition, and absolutely not the worse.
yeah
fascinating
It occurs to me that I am caught also, trapped watching him paint the minutes.
At least he is getting something done...I can only watch time go by.
That is just so darn cool and trippy. Somebody has a lot of time on their hands thinking this up. LOL
The hands of time - good one
And like - nobody - really pays attention..
why does this make me feel depressed why do I feel like I need to do something for this man it's giving metropolis vibes 😵💫 it's beautiful and hypnotic
The person who took this video missed their flight by 5 minutes.
Not good if you’re in. Hurry and the minute hand has just been wiped
The greatest time piece
Of art ever
There are 24 hours in a day, it's truly magical how they did this with just 12 hours of footage
What are you going on about? An analogue clock does 2, 12 hour cycles per day. It's not complicated.
@@gsau3000 ohhh you're right. So all we have to do it play it backwards 12+12 is 24. Wish I thought of that before.
Thats so freaking cool. Real art
This made me cry.. truly a master piece 🙌 working-class hero 🙌
not a real person
That was so creative!
I was trying to find out more information about how they did this - the obvious answer being that they filmed an actor for 12 hours. I found that hard to believe and assumed some photographic or CGI trickery but yes, they really did film an actor for 12 hours!
So... I found someone who spend his time with TIME ⌚ during Pandemic Lockdown 2020..... 😁 😁 😅 ...lol...!😁 😁 🤣....
Amazingly Speechless 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽
Just briliant!
saalam dari Malaysia, Sarawak. sangat mengagumkan sekali seni ini. muantap
Salam. Terima kasih telah menonton.
magic combo !
Absolutely brilliant 🙏🙏. It like Harry potter movie where image inside newspaper move.
Wow if I was trapped in an airport with a delay this would entertain me for hours.... Impressive vr technology. They say they filmed a guy for 12 hours straight. However that's not true. He returns to the same position which allows a reset. He did this over several days while filming
Really?
@@jbdoula1 look for the reset. i work in film and no actor would do anyting for 12 hours straight without eating or using the bathroom etc...
Amazing art
Cool Phil... I was a little bit confused but suddenly my lamp was going on💡🤓
:-)
He is drawing minutes within less than a minute... His time is passing by faster
No he is not, this video is approximately 6 minutes. He is accurate
Brilliant
He was told the box runs out of oxygen in 12 hours. He's keeping track.
Surely it's only an hours loop....and the hour hand moves.
That’s why I wanna go to Amsterdam cos it’s madly cool from the min u set foot in Dutch soil!
You will love it there
Fantastic 🎉one.
That's the purpose guys, to get people attention. To annoy y'all. Because of in this planet there's people that work hard time to time, minutes to minutes. And to make y'all realize that time keeps running and every minutes is worthy.
he didn't go to the toilet at all within the 12 hours?
I thought is was real,Human clock,great idea.
Is the minute up when he first starts to draw it or when he finishes?
When he starts erasing, I think. At 0:25 he begins erasing, then one minute later at 1:25 he begins erasing again
exellent !! ..
Cheers, Sergej !
Will someone please go visit him
He looks so lonely. Pls
Does someone have or seen 12hr record of this clock?
how gonna free out?
Guy must've been paid really well to do this projection job 😂
Now this is art
There’s one in Paddington too.
Actually, I find it sad😐
What do you do - I am Watch
The music is so depressing, it's perfect for the tedious job.
Well ain't that a son of a gun !!!!!!!!
Hahaha! Yeah, it comes as a bit of a surprise first time around. All the best, bro! :-)
"Draw faster dude, I can't see the time."
I love time
Song name?
See the video description above, Ramiro. Greetings from Sicily.
"Too Much Time on My Hands" :-)
What is this song?
It's a remix of Wasteland, by Tracing Arcs. :)
How long did it take to record this video?
It is in real time, so a few minutes.
I feel like I wanna librate him. Just break it up.
nice
beats being married
Please save this man from that clock so he can eat and drink
😮
Now this is what you call Art.
Who’s that man tho??? I need to find him
you realise that its not an actuall person and that its just an animation?
Here from TikTok
I wonder if the man gets royalties.
This is 12 hr of recorded video
Poor fellow he has to work round the clock😥😥
Must have been paid at least a mil to do this 12 hours straight
It s really a man in ? Or it s video ?
its a 12 hour long recording that makes an illusion that someone actually is in there
Yeah you can see the LED lights because it’s a jumbo screen
Круто!!!!
Ура!
Is this real???
It’s a video projection
AMSTERDAM AIRPORT
Is this a punishment of some kind?
Free him!!!
The sad fact is that : He is wasting his own life time by working on time
Let him try to do the second hand 😆
Can I get one on Amazon?
It's an video
That must be an annoying clock
It's actually rather entertaining.
hahaha😂😂
Man clock
ما شاء الله
This is disturbing
My husband thinks this is very cool. To me this would be the worse job ever - 8 hours shift would drive me crazy !
There's not actually a man in there :)
I bet they filmed a man doing this for an hour, then a replacement person doing the next hour and so on for 12 hours, then they had all set to display it there.
It's a video.. But this is just one man it's an artist and this "art" took him 12 hours 😁
collomps nah it’s the same man for 12 hours
you realise that its not an actuall person and that its just an animation?
لا اله الا الله 🤍
How very uninteresting, where ever that might be.
While original, it's annoying, distracting, and doesn't belong in an airport. More in a museum. Almost feels cheap. An airport should be clean/strict, and have neutral/generic airport-look, and do what it supposed to do. I think it's kinda dumb actually. Haha.
The clock guy would be a prefect job for a guy I work with. This is no lie the guy put three clocks in the maintenance shop and he looks at them again no lie every 15 or 20 seconds in a 12 hour shift. If anyone know what causes that please tell me.
Maybe OCD
Everyone thinks it's a video, but really it's a man that cut in front of a witch at check-in because he was in a hurry & is now cursed to appreciate every minute for all eternity.
No its just an animation
Its a recording of 12 hr......which is played in 12hr. Basis on that clock...... it's just amazing art..
@@AK-kv2kg im sure that person is joking
Bravo.. 👏👏
Adam, Your sense of humour is remarkable
I found this quite disturbing actually. Clearly it's a video projecting onto the inside of the clock face. It takes half a minute to realise this. As a matter of fact, there's a small door with a window at the rear of the clock. You can see the Hand-man from behind, going through the exact same routine, completely coordinated with the front. By the time you notice this, the joke has well worn off. It's more like some terrible punishment in Black Mirror. Poor guy's condemned to adjust the clock hands until the end of time.
Um i think he quit the job by now because how would he sleep
fxrnweh did you not read you idiot
lol he just did this for a day
it was an artist. he did it cuz he wanted to. they just projected the video onto the clock-
um.. you can't expect someone to work 12 hours a day litrally just drawing lines and erasing them, only to be paid a minimum wage so that it's inTresTinG
When the smartwatches get enough battery to support this, I would love to have it!
Same!!
First of all, we don't have such small humans, and that would be inhumane anyway to have somebody trapped on your wrist all day... That's why someone invited modern watches, the one left in Schiphol should be the last one ever created, to remind us of the past and how we improved
Loneliest job in the planet!
It's not a job by the way

@@camilotobias254 It is actually a looped recording of a man who painted a new line every minute for 12 hours straight.
It’s a recording there isn’t actually someone inside the clock
Imagine how much storage needed to store this video. Amazing
We arrived in Amsterdam last night and saw this man and the clock quite impressive
thats fascinating...wicked.. like it a lot.
kudos to the maker, and kudos to the airport going out on a limp, with this watch-approach that both are fascinating and put "time" into perspective...
That’s so awesome!! What an idea that is
When i was at the airport i actually thought it was someone fixing something..... eventually i walked by again and i was in ore.
Thanks God there is no hand of second in Clock
I find no pleasure in looking at this projection .actually I find it disturbing .
