He does cover without using his hand excessively usually. He’s without a doubt a top 10 CB at the bare minimum. I’d say top 5 personally. I’m almost positive his DB coach told him to be extra physical with Deandre to throw off his game. DB’s usually be letting Hopkins do what he wants, not even trying to press him. I think the game plan worked out well
The 2nd one was a PI. It was a catchable ball and X just threw himself in front of Hopkins stopping Hopkins momentum. Hopkins didn’t push off or anything he just got his arm off him
