Sweet. Instead of buying a new 5208 I ordered a battery and watched this. I love fixing instead of throwing away and buying another. This cheap plastic watch keeps better time than much more expensive watches and is a great work watch.
Do I see correctly that there is a trimmer screw on the module to calibrate the rate of the quartz movement, like on some g-shocks for better accuracy? Thx
@@elvischew1758 The problem is that this is a Casio "Tough Solar" watch. It is designed with a built in solar panel that is designed for recharging a rechargable battery or capacitor as it's really called. If you try to put a regular battery in this watch(if one would actually even fit) the module would be damaged because the watch would be trying to charge a NON rechargable battery🤦🏿♂️🤷🏾♂️.
