Brent...I was seriously watching a professionally made video, like a "How It's Made" series. This was amazing!!! Great show, I had no idea how much went into making these countertops.
This looks great! Much respect to the worker who was working even with an arm brace. The idea of being able to watch how the process was done would be awesome!
Wow. Those counter top guys were professionals! I thought it was super cool to see the granite counter tops manufactured. I always wondered how ours were made
I was super delighted watching the entire video! Thank you so much for let us know the complete process of making a countertop and the kitchen! Amazing! More like this please👏👏👏🤩🤩🤩
love your videos. I especially enjoy your voice over explaining the process of whatever you're doing. Seeing how things are made is definitely something I would love to see. Thanks Brent
Questions for stone countertop pros: 1. Is the joint a common practice in your area? We usually have a whole piece surrounding the sink. And if joint is needed, that would go to a different spot so the sink is actually a cutout from the center of the piece. 2. Is the backsplash a commonly used practice? Here in Vancouver we always cover the entire wall with the outlet carved out. 3. During the fabrication process, is polishing the top a common practice for quartz? We never did that unless needing a leathered or honed finished from a polished slab.
MAN!!!!! This is an Awesome Video on every level!! The kitchen is beautiful...I love your choices, I love seeing how things are made, because when I throw down the big bucks for those countertops I want to know how its done and I wanna make sure they are doing the job your people did. (Next phase of my current Reno is Kitchen) Also I just replaced on my recessed lighting with the new LED's, including Two with Gimbles and I am a 65 year old chick. easy peasy. Seriously good job...often times on you tube there is too much unfocused chat and it is distracting. Not so here! THANKS!
I like seeing the process behind the components you get from elsewhere! I think I'd prefer to see it in context with a larger project that you're actually working on, like this series, but if you decided to do a whole other channel where you go into the process of making things, I'd watch that too!
I love watching "how it's made" stuff. Definitely do not mind seeing more of it. Keep em coming boss. Here works for me or new channel. It's indifferent to me, I'd watch/sub regardless 😊
This is fun to watch,I wish this stuff wasn’t so expensive. I’m going to do resin in mine. I’m going for a custom marble look. That’s the other issue the weight I’ve got old cabinets that weight would be too much. Thanks Brent for covering all the aspects of a kitchen remodel. The measuring was so fun to watch.
I just pulled off hundreds of pounds of Corian from 1971 particleboard cabinets. No Bracey nothing but silicone to stick them in place as if they were going to move and go somewhere else anyways. So “the way I’ve got all cabinets that way it would be too much” is not true in the least
I like all the white. The countertops are beautiful. The ONLY thing I did not like was the design of the backsplash behind the stove with the half circle merging with the backsplash. It really didn’t fit the rest of it, imo. But other than that, BEAUTIFUL and very nicely done!
Great to hear and thanks for the input. This was the client's decision and yes I know its not for everyone but she loves it so that all I can ask for :) Thanks for watching
When we installed our under mount sink we added additional wood supports underneath. Not 100% sure the silicone and epoxy is strong enough to take the weight of a sink full of dishes and water. But just my opinion, could be wrong 🤷🏽♂️
Sink braces are installed to hold the weight of sink, dishes and garbage disposal- this item was just left out of the video. You are correct, only epoxy and silicone would fail over time. Cheers Integrity Stonework
PSA: for those who don’t know, quartz is basically quartz. all non porous, durable and scratch resistant. pick the one you love. Caesarstone is EXPENSIVE brand. they do have nice styles but so does hanstone, lg, elemar etc. a lot of stone yards will have house stones that they bring in a t a discount, typically the marble look most people want.
Another great money saving tip is IKEA, yes IKEA, offers quartz countertops. They come and measure, custom make, and install them for you. Got mine there about 8 years ago and they’re still as good as the day they were installed.
I want to hear from YOU! The BYOT Fam. Do you want to see more videos on how things are fabricated and made?
Yes, please!
@@martharetallick204 Thanks so much for the input :)
Yes, we want more!!!!

Thanks for all your support Mitch and so good to hear that everyone is excited about a "How Its Made" series BYOT style haha :)
@@BYOTools, yes, Buddy, I would love to see more about how more things are done professionally from 'Down Under.'
More please! Your narrations are well thought out and delivered in a fun, casual style. Of course, we all want to see you building stuff, too!
Love hearing that and thanks so much for your encouragement

Would like to see more of these mixed in with your regular videos.

Yes, more videos like this would be great I watched both back to back. I learn a lot from your videos
Appreciation for this amazing work of art you show sooooo satisfying to watch and listen enjoyed it alot.
Yeah Brent that was very cool, and I would definitely watch more like that.

Wish you were in LA, totally hire you
Love that slab!
I like it. If it's going to be an occasional thing (let's say once a month or less), I'd say just keep it in the same channel.

How the sink can survive with only silicone to stick under the quart counter top?
Do you know how to remove chemical stains on quartz?
Yes the video is interesting. On top of your normal of course.

Great work and everything but still labor is so over priced in America unfortunately.
Because of the economic crisis and the rate of unemployment, now is the best time to invest and make money 💯
I wanted to to trade Crypto but got confused by the fluctuations in price
I have also been trading with him, profits are secured and over a 100 percent return on investment
😢I lost £1200 carelessly trading on a platform then i was referred to CREED GILBERT and he recovered the loss and made an extra profit of £7600
I got CREED GILBERT info how good is he ?

You do your kitchens in a very very very strange way....
