Arthritis.
Frequent headaches.
Healing after an accident or whiplash.
Joint pain and dysfunction.
Lower back pain.
Neck pain.
Sciatica.
Stiff muscles or muscle aches.
Chiropractors make sure not only that your joints are moving properly, but also that your surrounding muscles are functioning as well.
What is the popping sound I hear during a chiropractic adjustment?
You may feel and hear a popping or cracking sensations during a chiropractic adjustment. These are gases, like oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide, released from your joints. Gas gets trapped in small cavities of your joints when you move and stretch. While this gas release may be more apparent during a chiropractic adjustment, you experience a similar sound when you crack your knuckles.
What happens after a chiropractic adjustment?
After a chiropractic adjustment, you might feel mild soreness or have very minor aches in areas of your body that your chiropractor worked on. This feeling usually goes away within 24 hours and rarely affects people who see a chiropractor regularly.
After your appointment, your chiropractor might recommend “homework” for you to extend your therapy after an adjustment. These recommendations might include:
Exercises and stretches.
Proper ergonomics for improving your posture.
Icing/heat therapy or topical analgesics.
Advice on nutrition, diet, weight or general health.
Ways to manage stress and relax muscles.
Electrical muscle stimulation using transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulators (TENS).
What is a Y Strap Adjustment?
The Y strap, also known as the y-axis traction strap, is a chiropractic decompression tool. Like hands-on spinal decompression, the Y strap works to decompress the vertebrae by gently stretching the spine. The Y-Axis Traction Strap allows doctors to perform traction as well as mobilization to the Y-axis. The Y-Axis Traction Strap corrects “kinks” in the epi-pia collagen network. The cartilage and collagen of the joint capsules are shortened and strengthened on the acute angle side of the deviations, making correction difficult unless stretching and time-dependent procedures are used. Patients may feel the release from the sub-occipital region of the skull down through the cervical, thoracic and lumbar regions of the spine. Where one is most out of alignment, is where the effect is felt most.

I have had chiropractic adjustments where, out of nowhere, comes an emotional release. I remember being so embarrassed, but my doctor told me that many times, people had emotional releases happen. I hope this lady is feeling better. Dr. C you did good.

Same here! I felt every bit of that! I have many of the same symptoms! But that vibration and neck rub would feel mighty good! I know I’d be screaming and cussing up a storm! lol On top of all that, I have huge bumps on the top of my feet and it hurts to walk! You’re doing a wonderful job, doc!

I envied these people so much, I can not even imagine how wonderful they feel when he is done with them! I have been in pain for 43 years from falling out of a moving vehicle. Now I have severe arthritis, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, in my spine, lumbar, neck, both shoulders, headaches in various places,TMJ, I had both knees replaced and they are stiff and some plain, tingling in my feet and arms and hands, corporal tunnel syndrome both wrists. I also have a lot of internal problems and an aneurysm from my main aorta to my heart. Lots of things going on and I probably forgot something, lol! Lord bless this chiropractor, he has healing hands!!

Hi I absolutely love watching you and I almost cry everytime because I can almost feel the relief through your videos I've been in so much pain my entire life from 7 years old I am now 41 I'm so tired of hurting and tired of being tired I've done everything except this I would love to do this everyday I'm ready to give in but I'm a single mother of two and helping my daughter raise my granddaughter so I have to keep going no matter how bad I feel/hurt I even hurt in my sleep it wakes me up it's constant there's so much to my story that I can't put in this msg but just kno you're ur a godsend to every single patient

I commend anyone getting these chiropractic adjustments done. I can't stand getting my neck cracked to begin with but this is some very intensive work she's getting done! OUCH!!! But I guess if you're in horrible pain for years this probably was worth it. I hope she's doing better ❤
Very interesting that this patient says she’s seeing another chiropractor every two weeks, and she still had all those issues that just weren’t being addressed. Makes me wonder what other chiropractors are doing.

Hi from AZ. Faith over fear is about what will happen if you're in pain for longs time and by watching and reading the comments makes want to praise with you every step of the way. I'm sure theres more people out there needs a relief for whats has whole them back for years. Pain is no fun. My husband had back surgery years ago. He always wanting to go to a chiropractic. For 8 years his been sleeping on the couch. He always constantly moving around with pain. So hopefully someday he'll see chiropractic.

Well not relaxing will hurt and can hurt you. It isn't easy, but the results can be amazing! Do yourself a favor, get a massage first before treatment and be honest with the chiropractor about your fears! This lady is very tense and probably has fibromyalgia/hypersensitivity to any pain. My sister is that way and she is really hard to treat.

Wow you were extra aggressive with her adjustment. I guess you really felt like she needed you to be that way since she was so locked up and a hefty size woman. I'd be so paranoid about hurting someone but you definitely are a Professional at what you do I'm always super impressed 😁

For a while I have wondered if chiropractic care would help me. I’ve watched many videos of younger, fit men and women being treated, but this is the first I have watched that featured someone who looks like me - female, older, not very fit. This gives me hope that maybe I should seek help from a chiropractor for the increasing pain in my hip, back, and neck.

Wow I wish the chiropractor I use to go to worked like you. She would work only 5 minutes or so. I hurt bad after I left. I stopped going. I have RA and fibromyalgia and my pain is awful. Wish you lived closer.

😢juro por Dios que cada vez que veo sus videos lloro e inmediatamente me suscribí. Un trailer me chocó frente a frente y desde entonces e estado en seciones de terapia física y no me an dado resultado. Le pregunté al doctor si podía mandarme a un quiropráctico y me dijo que si la terapia física no me había ayudado entonces tampoco creía que me ayudaría la quiropráctica. Yo veo que son completamente diferentes una de la otra. Buscare ayuda por mi cuenta porque si no la aseguranza del trailer no me pagara 😢incluso el doctor me dijo que para el luce mas como arthritis 😢pero antes del accidente yo no tenía artritis y jamás tuve un dolor de espalda o cuello. 😢 me siento mal, mareada y el dolor de cuello incluso me provoca dolor de cabeza. Buscare un quiropráctico por mi cuenta. No puedo quedarme así y menos por algo que no fue mi culpa! 😢muy largo el texto. Lo siento!!

Muchas gracias por contestar ahora estoy haciendo ejercicios en casa con ligas que e puesto en la pared y el techo y me están ayudando mucho me dan alivio y me siento más feliz. Aún no e buscado el quiropráctico pues el abogado me dijo: primero cerremos su caso y después haga lo que quiera con su dinero. Es triste pero aquí las cosas son así. Sin embargo eso no me detiene, continuo haciendo mis tamales y ahora tengo muchos clientes que siempre me están llamando. La mayoría son viejitos de la raza blanca pero son muy lindos me aconsejan mucho, me dan mis buenos abrazos, me dan propina y siempre me hablan de jesucristo. Espiritualmente, anímicamente me siento más feliz y más plena. Dios lo bendiga mucho doctor y también a su hermosa esposa y familia.

Been going to a chiropractor for years, just a week before this, yet she is in this shape. Why don’t all chiropractors help their patients? I’ve been going to them for more than 40 years. I’ve always thought it was just a money racket. Most of them do t care whether you feel better or not.
