I love all the embossed bottles! Apparently Crayfish thrive in sewage! People actually eat those things, not this old Texas girl.

I was visiting friends in West Virginia many years ago ! We stopped at a little backwoods convenient store with the old style water cooler pop chest ! I bought a coke and before opening it I looked at the bottom for the town ! Boy was I surprised to see it was from my hometown Wichita , Kansas ! I wish now that I had kept it !

The Deco bottles are cool. Deco anything is very collectible. I can see why you like the ink bottles, especially the ceramic ones.

Kyle, PLEASE retrieve that slick gorgeous green bottle if you didn't take it home. Love the green and would be happy to purchase from you. Grandson's favorite color. He has been getting interested in my bottle collection. Let me know 😊

The bottles that are missing the bottoms would make beautiful “shades” for candles!

The little brown bottle is probably Mecurichrome which is a poison having both mercury and chrome used for disinfection of cuts. It had a rubber top with an glass rod for the application to paint the wound. MY mom used a lot of it on us as children.

Yah, I'll dig in that sewage with you anytime! That marble! The fancy pop/sodas! I have collected and sold many dairy bottles, (Michigan), but that shape is entirely new to me. Cool beans: thanks for sharing.

The small green bottle in the beginning is a snugg. The big brown bottle with the pouring lip is an apothecary or chemist's bottle. It would have held bulk liquids for a pharmacy.

It would be interesting to see whats deeper (i:e earlier) there appears to be a ash line where you were digging.

Great Art Deco bottles. Some of the 1923 Christmas Cokes are pretty rare. How fitting being the time of year it is which reminds me…Happy Holidays Kyle!

Yeah, those little frequently found jars might have been snuff...with a metal cap. Thanks for sharing the adventure
