Thanks. I used the tutorial on a step by step basis to input details for 1939 Register for some of my folk. It was really easy - so great product and great tutorial. With thanks.
I'm using version 6 of Family Historian. I presume that some of the features you demonstrate are not available in this version, even when using the latest version of Ancestral Sources.
Hi Paul. Version 7 has been available for over 2 years now and there is a 30% off the price if you're upgrading from version 6. If you use Ancestral Sources with FHv6 then the source text can only be 'plain text' which means no tables, fonts, colours and no hyperlinks to individuals. Also you can only use generic sources in v6 so you can't take advantage of the templated sources that I've described in a different video.
@@ancestralsources Hi. I used Ancestral Sources a long time ago when it only had templates for the census. I've only recently started back with my family history and have a backlog of information to enter and was hoping to use Ancestral Sources now that it covers all the major events. I was going to keep with version 6 of Family Historian, rather than complicate things with new features. I didn't realise that version 7 has been out for so long - I'd better upgrade!
Thank you for the excellent tutorial; I was confused before watching it.
