We all agree about how beautiful this is, but stop and think: Jon Hallur created a soundtrack to a game that is well over 6 hours long. Most music albums won't even break the 50-minute level, and movie soundtracks are usually even shorter. Jon Hallur said: "Here ya go, CCP Games, this will keep the players entertained for at least 6 hours." He had no idea it would keep people entertained for DECADES to come. It's an absolute music production masterpiece.
I with I had a tenth of his talent. This music always gives me goosebumps and bring backs memories, then I boot up the game and realize it won't be the same, I'm not the same.
The music and graphics are 1000% but the game itself is rubbish. Pure PVP. Horrible. Terrible. Crap. Pure Shit. Where have you seen it? Summary: IF the ship is destroyed you lose everything you had, the money invested, the equipment. There's just a body floating in space.

I remember when you could walk around the inside of the station in your own little personal space, it was a far stretch from the 3rd person perspective and imagining your cloned body submerged in a vat of life support fluids deep in the body of your ship. The only connection to the outside fed to you via neurological interface ports and the myriad of shipboard sensors. It was a rare treat to be able to leave the pod and walk around, see your character on a different scale to the vast space stations that would call you home from a day of mission running, mining or hauling goods. Add to that the built in music player where you could pick the soundtrack to match the ethereal place you found yourself in whether it be in space exploring or fighting,. or on a station fitting your ship or selecting the next mission. The soundtrack was a sublime addition to this game, a game that scratched an itch no other sci-fi title could at the time, to be flung into the depths of space with no skills, no money and no ships. Where time invested was as valuable as the rarest items and losing stuff meant you really lost it and had to go back and start again. I haven't played the game in years and i doubt that i will ever go back to it, that part of my life has concluded. But this album will always serve as a reminder to the mystery and awe that this game brought me for many many years. Thank you for sharing this.

Some of the Jukebox tracks seem to no longer be there. Seven Clans is one of the ones I listened to the most that I have to go out of my way to listen to.
Hello everyone. I have a friend who makes music without pretension. He sent me this piece and immediately the melody struck me as familiar, so I told him he had plagiarized it from Eve Online. Now, I'm not so sure, but I've heard it many times before. Could you tell me if it's from Eve Online or if Shazam could help me identify it? Shazam gives me a different song from what I've heard. Thank you all.

It's very sad that the music has been deemphasized so much in the game. There's often no music playing at all, even though it's turned on, and the jukebox is sorely missing.
