      The bible says a prophet isn't welcome in his own home country...it's so right that book about everything on life...look at scholes disrespected by his own country, CR7 disrepceted by his own countrymen the most look at mourinho as an example, look at Messi disrespected by Maradonna. @@smullaney84 actually the majority of our laws and constitutions here in the west were founded on the bible and its teachings. The west had a pretty strong christian foundation. The faith has millions of followers around the world who would beg to differ. My point was that people in their own countries are not respected in portugal when CR7 did not win the world cup in 2022. They burned his jerseys in the street. Messi also prior to his world cup win had his family members harassed and his jerseys burned in previous world cups to me there is a fine line between passion for football and being ungrateful that these countries were given the best players arguably in football history is sad in of itself.

      No, the stars don't prefer it in the states. When they are no longer good enough to play in Europe, they either retire, move to China for money or move to the MLS to be able to live in America.
      The MLS will never be even close to the top leagues in Europe unless things drastically change.

    People still call Ibrah arrogant? They dont understand when hes a clown and when hes serious. This is a serious Ibrah talking and theres absolutely no arrogance to be seen.
    The thing with Rooney is that he stayed in MU for better or worst. Had him transfer to lets say Bayern, Juve, Milan when MU started their transition period he would had lot more trophies to show and more people would recognize him for what he was, even by having CR7 close by took a lot of his shine away. But even during ups and downs in MU he always played at top lvl. Starting pro so young and keeping it up as a star for so long is something only the greatest do.

    Rooney was literally all over the pitch like Gerrad from a young age.
    He paid for his sacrifice because his legs had gone by Ferguson's last season. Whereas Messi had the luxury of just being an outlet player. He had no intention of defending. Hence the text to Pep and removal of Zlatan - while Zlatan was scoring for fun - from Barca.

  • @shaghilathar3588
    @shaghilathar3588 2 года назад +2

    1:35 I like how zlatans having a go at Cr7 coz he’s his long time rival but even he knows that’s not true because sure Rooney sacrificed for Cr7 defensively but going forward all the work was most certainly not done by Rooney. First of all Cr7 assisted Rooney plenty of times so it’s not like Rooney was never given the chance to score goals alongside Cr7. Secondly , if you look back and you watch cr7’s best goals at Man Utd , most of them don’t even involve Rooney. His classic goals,free kicks and long range strikes etc. Of course Rooneys assists are part of the reason Cr7 scored so many goals in his last 3 seasons at Man Utd but still the main reason was Cr7’s own ability and most of the work was done by himself.

    • @DirtyJamesUK
      @DirtyJamesUK 2 года назад

      Rooney was the engine going forward. If you watched all the games and not just the highlights you can see it more easily. Rooney would play out wide some games to accommodate CR7. CR7 was not lazy, but he was individually driven, Rooney was team driven!
      Instead of secretly disliking and competing with Ronaldo's ability he nurtured it. He said for ages that Ronaldo was the best player in the world, when I still believed Rooney was the best player at the club.

      He did inspire him though.
      I believe Ronaldo got so good at finishing because that's what he had to do to steal the limelight from Rooney.
      He also helped him, by assisting and playing out of position, and showed CR7 a proper workrate. He let Ronaldo take the free kicks, when Rooney was good enough to have scored a free kick on his debut at United at just 18.
      Rooney was more lethal than Ronaldo for about 3-4 years and was a year younger.

    Watch Rooney play in America it’s actuallly awful ho the players treat him. Celebrating but if it wasn’t for Rooney a ball they would never of scored.
