Great video!! I’ve known about 3d printing for years, since the very early days of the makerbot. I decided to get my first for xmas and also got the Ankermake but the M5.
I love your vibes! Your eyes are sparkling when you talk about new craft methods. Really nice. Thanks for the 3d printer test. It was very interesting and entertaining.🥰
Congrats on the Home Schooling! Please continue to post. I enjoy creating while you speak or craft or work, etc. It keep me motivated to work as I am at 1252 am on a Sunday morning. Thank you for caring to share!
Hello! I've been on tiktok and have looked at people selling their designs for t shirts. Every time I see a live I ask 1 question but for some reason no one wants to answer. The question is what is the difference between sublimation, dtf and screen print transfers? I'm not sure if I'm asking it wrong? I just generally want to know.
Tried one of these out, a few words of caution. First is that it requires an internet connection, why would they do that hmm?? Second you have to lock the printer to their server which pertains to the country you live in.... I contacted their support to see if they had any work arounds for this, there are none. What this means is that when you print something they get your design and secondly if they go out of business your printer becomes a brick. Make sure you're ok with that before buying. For those reasons I returned mine.
Hi Sallie, I recently found your channel and love the fact that you are a Christian (I see your tshirt designs 💜) and feel sure I hear a southern accent! I am a special education teacher in Arkansas and am considering starting a small business for my special education students. Would you ever consider doing a Google Meet so I can ask you questions and get some guidance? I’ve been watching your videos, but need to get this thing going, by ordering supplies and equipment within the next month.
This looks so cool! Will you make laser levels, laser clips, & picture hanging "guides" (like your pink plastic one from caveman etc.) & sell in your shop? That would be awesome!! Thank you so much for sharing this!!
BUT, some of us have older phones. For example I have an iPhone 6s. I drive an electric car, BMW i3 and the BMW App can't load on my phone as I would have to load a newer operating system to run the App on my phone that can't install the newer OS. In fact a fair amount of my Apps on my iPhone no longer work as they have updated their Apps and sunset the old and attempts to install tell me I need to update my OS which I can not install. So, I am always hesitant to buy products that require loading an App. So, the loss of the touch screen is a negative for me. In fact, this is crazy. I was on a 2 week vacation and wanted to wash clothes in the hotel. The washer and dryer no longer took coins, you had to install an App to pay. I had to go to an old style laundry place.
No screen is not great. If you lose Wi-Fi you cannot use it. Considering you get a basic non touchscreen for as little as £20 it seems an odd choice, but it does seem to be a pretty solid product
You can.. You can use a router without connectivity, that is why when you add certain devices you connect to the device from your phones WiFi settings.. It also uses Bluetooth and USB.
Not a bad price for a 3d printer. Can you post about maintenance as you use it? Replacement parts and physical maintenance are the biggest obstacles for most 3d beginners, and most printers require a lot of maintenance. A large percentage of new printers are mothballed once something breaks because users don't know how to fix them. I'm planning on opening a makers space soon and I'd like to pick up a 3d printer that requires less maintenance than the one I have.
Honestly this one doesn’t seem bad at all in terms of maintenance. Everything is super simple. I am still a beginner, of course but I definitely plan on making updates here and there on it 😊
This was an honest review! I would never put a video up on my channel if a product wasn’t good 👍 that’s just my character. I don’t know how this product is long term, but my first experiences with it have been good.
Did it come with filament? And do you have to design all those things like chip Clips or were you able to get the file from somewhere? I have one of these coming but I'm scared I won't be able to figure out how to do cool stuff like that
No. You'll have to use third-party software. This is not a fault of Anker, btw. I don't know of any 3d printer that comes with its own design software. However, it does come with its own slicer.
Well, this one is only $360 with a coupon- that’s pretty low cost and perfect for beginners. I personally like the look of this one! I think it’s simple and durable.
@@SimplySallie the durability is not compromised on the original version. The original version is even more durable with full metal frame including the filament holder. Not sure if that you have has a filament sensor too. They better keep the original version in the market for those who wants it. It's ok to have it for double the price.
I am currently looking for a 3D printer for my school project and just saw this!! This looks super cool and easy to use! Thank you for recommending very helpful
Literally was considering getting an ankermake printer. So I think this has encouraged me to maybe jump on it
Love the phone stand, awesome
3D RESIN printing would add a boost to custom orders.

AnkerMake M5C sounds promising! I am excited to use it to create different small objects to decorate my room!
Hi Sally, I love watchibg all your videos and look forward to watching when you post new videos
The 3D printing video is like a glimpse into the future! The way intricate designs come to life layer by layer is simply mesmerizing. 🌟🖨
Looks like the M5C really an entry level printer! btw 3D printing is sooooo cool~
That looks so much fun! A new hobby to pick up! 😍
Thank you for this Sallie i have often thought about this as another side hustle hehe. ❤
I miss your videos… are you going to put one out soon? I especially love you work with me and LIVE videos.

I won’t sell those since that is their creation! but I’ll definitely make different things to use within my business 😊
What shop are those from? I’d like to see them.

Yes what they said! You can connect Bluetooth or USB. There are many ways to connect which makes it nice.
If it helps any AnkerMake has actually said on their FAQ's page that they are making a display accessory for the M5C

Hi! Can I ask what software do you use to make your own 3d projects ? Tks
Cool hobby to have.
It’s been so much fun! 😊
Do you have any coupon codes? Thank you for all the info! ❤
How cool!
Hi mam
I have some questions to ask
how can I ask?
I wish I could find an honest review of this from someone who isn't just trying to sell them...
This was an honest review! I would never put a video up on my channel if a product wasn’t good 👍 that’s just my character. I don’t know how this product is long term, but my first experiences with it have been good.
@@SimplySallie I can appreciate that! I've already ordered one so soon enough I'll be able to tell for myself if they live up to the hype
What happens if the Internet loses connection?
How much filament did you end up using out of that large roll on all your products you made in total that day?
Not very much! We still have about half of a roll left and we’ve made even more projects since this video. I was impressed by that!
I'm curious, since i know you show the links and price for the machine, whats the cost of the filament per roll and how much is on a roll?
A 2 pack is 43.99 and it comes with 800 g per roll. It’s on the website!
Did it come with filament? And do you have to design all those things like chip Clips or were you able to get the file from somewhere? I have one of these coming but I'm scared I won't be able to figure out how to do cool stuff like that
There are websites like Thingiverse and Printables that have a lot of objects made by people that are ready to download
Also does it have some kind of software/ app where I can make my own 3d figure from scratch then printed it the Anker Maker?
No. You'll have to use third-party software. This is not a fault of Anker, btw. I don't know of any 3d printer that comes with its own design software. However, it does come with its own slicer.
What @poanoomann88 said! I found a free one called “blender” so you can create your own files. Ankermake does have a slicer software included though!
♥️
Mines has a touch screen. Much better looking. Sorry that this new one is ugly.

Hi Sallie! I sent you an email :)
A screen is an additional cost for this. It's a bed slinger. It's rubbish.
I haven’t had any issues yet and we’ve used it a LOT over the last few weeks! To me, it seems like a very well built printer.
@@SimplySallie Did you get it for free?
