Anyone who has ever complained about parallel parking in downtown traffic needs to see this. The US Air Force officers and enlisted personnel involved in this aerial ballet make it look like a walk in the park. God Bless The United States Military!
One of the few planes the military tried to retire but the public said oh hell no. Well crap sir. Didn't see that coming. If you want to fly an A-10 check out DCS. Warning. All the switches and systems work like they are supposed to so your first BUURRRRRRRPPPP is about 200 PDF pages and a few in game hours away. TRACKIR or VR is almost mandatory.
Have you played DCS Warthog? It is absolutely as close as it gets. Essentially, almost every button in the cockpit has a function. It takes 50 or so switch toggles/button presses just to start the thing, but that's straight forward enough. Then you get to the avionics which are the overwhelming bit. Personally, it was too much for me. To fly an A-10C in real life, you'd definitely have your work cut out for you...
I'm an aviation enthusiast. But I couldn't find the opportunity up to day to learn the importance of "277 knots" in military aviation. Could anyone please inform me?
I have a great respect for this guys even though i am not from US, but i was wondering about fueling the A-10, because now as i see it is a bit dangerous no? Because at the end when the fuel hose is removed, small amount of fuel escapes and goes right in to the direction of the engines....The engines could be caught on fire or is it just me?
+jack070991 My guess is that either the loose fuel doesn't pass through a stage where it is at risk of combustion, or it does but only where combustion is already taking place.
It's just you! The fuel doesn't have an ignition source until it gets to the flame of the engine, then it would just be a puff of extra fuel. It's first flight was 50 years ago! I suppose they need some youtube engineers to help them fix the problems they overlooked!
I'm going to try this again. Does anyone know how the boom connects to the receiving port? When it gets within 8" or so, It looks like some sort of magnet or vacuum "sucks" them together.
its just pressure of pushing up against each other that keeps them connected the. the boom will compensate for the pressure by either extending or retracting itself. I've been working on the 135s for more quite awhile, they're old but they're reliable.
PersistentPlatypus Thank you for the response, but I found out there actually are toggles inside the receptacle that keep them attached while fueling. One of my clients is a retired Lt. Colonel that used to fly these things. Thanks again for the reply!
RU551AN C0MMUN1ST No, the F-16CJ is the Wild Weasel variant that has been in service since 1993. Japan has not at any time operated F-16s or built a "J" variant of them, though the Mitsubishi F-2 they build in cooperation with Lockheed is basically an F-16 on crack.
RU551AN C0MMUN1ST The F-2 is 60% Japanese designed and manufactured. It's its own aircraft, just based on the F-16. There are no F-16s of any variant used by the JASDF, homegrown or not. However, you're right about the F-15J/DJ, and they also have F-4EJs.
Why not make sure that you are truly saved by Jesus Christ and practice this way. Remorsefully confess with your heart your sins to Jesus Christ who is God and tell Him that you right now are repenting of your sins and you want to be born again of the Spirit from above. Tell Jesus that you are remorsefully sorry for breaking His commandments and that you are begging for forgiveness from Him. Allow His blood from the cross to wash away your sins. After this is done with your heart successfully the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and He will rebuild you from the inside out. Look for signs that you are saved. Things like spreading the good news from Jesus, getting other people saved, a craving for the word of God, reading the Bible, etc… These things are known as a calling and fruit bearing. If you're not bearing fruit then keep doing it. Sometimes it takes time to get saved. Read Matthew chapter 13 from the King James Bible. God bless!!!!

When you need a longer brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrtttt
I wasted my life, I should have been a pilot, an A-10C would make me very happy.

Yep, thats why I am so in love with the Hog after flying the A-10C module from DCS. My avatar is a screen grab of my hog in DCS.
Nevyn Tanis Are you any good? Cause I'm no newb to flight sims, yet I absolutely suck at Warthog.
scrfce123
I am ok I suppose, what part of the A-10 do you find difficult?
I would have liked an F-16 myself! :)
Look at the A-10 bank 3:57.
oh thats literally what i came here to see
The Arkansas Razorbacks might not put up much of a fight these days but a Razorback A-10... That's a whole different story! GO HOGS!
That's badass!
F16s looking absolutely sinister!!
we are trying to send people on Mars, yet we dont have the tech to give our pilots proper radios with decent audio
Excellent
Good video, thanks

It's nice to see the 22d ARS lives on as an EARS squadron.... "Once a Mule, Always a Mule!"

I'm an aviation enthusiast. But I couldn't find the opportunity up to day to learn the importance of "277 knots" in military aviation. Could anyone please inform me?
I can't do this job I m too clumsy for this
Boom closed the crew entry chute door without placing the floor grate down first!
DCS is so realistic!

refueling without paying?

Na força aérea , quem faz desenhos nos aviões são os pilotos ? ou os mecânicos ?
+Amauri yvanovich Os ingenieros de disenho/pojeto mas son asesorados por pilotos expertos según las necesidades y requerimientos del aviao
F-16CJ, right?

Cool as cucumbers
This whole process is shady and dangerous as fuck.
***** the hell are you talking about? its just planes refueling in the air
*****
What? Is that even a question?
+TheSoloAsylum But every aerial refueling saves thousands of dollars
collision, static electricity turbulence night refueling a lot of this is dangerous lock where the refueling points is on the f16 behind the cockpit
man patinka
one mean hog
That's one ugly ass but scary airplane
Supercell2 it's not an airplane it's an attack jet get it right.
I do believe it still has wings and a engine which qualifies it as an airplane
No an airplane qualifies as a passenger aircraft. So therefore the A-10 is not an airplane it is an attack jet
A powered heavier than air aircraft that is kept aloft by the upward thrust by the passing of air on it's fixed wings. You can stop being a troll now.
Not being a troll I'm just using technicality
Free gas :D
Red98447 that shit ain't free the tax payer are paying for that
