Always a pleasure to see more Ayreon. I am also happy because this song is not reacted to very often. Some of my favourite songs are Into the Black Hole (feat. Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden) and Lost Children of the Universe by Arjen's side project Star One (inspired by the movie Interstellar). BTW the keyboardist is Joost van den Broek and the guitarrist is Marcel Coenen.
Joost van der broek, ex band member of Floor's old bands also best Friend with Floor has helped her with her new album and played the piano parts in her version of the Heart song Alone. He that talented keyboard player. You guys are cute being cuddly....just had to say that. Also Arjen has had other talented guitarist help out in his projects like Joe Satriani and Steve vai so his name is known among the greats.
First comment with the correct video title??? 😁 An older Ayreon song, goes back to the second album, Actual Fantasy , from 1996. Sir Joost van den Broek on keyboards. For more: try Star of Sirrah from this same show. Arjen has a new project called Supersonic Revolution, Joost plays in that too. Their first release is called The Glamattack
It's good to see you having so much fun with this reaction! As an Ayreon, and also Arjen Lucassen fan myself, I can definitely hear some Dio/Rainbow influences here. Needless to say I admire them, as well. As for correct pronunciation, you might be interested to know that the 'J' in Joost van den Broek (keyboardist), and also Arjen Lucassen are phonetically identical to the 'J' in Floor Jansen, i.e. like you would pronounce a 'Y' in words like 'you' and 'yell'. It's the Dutch way of pronouncing the letter 'J'. Anyway, do keep eating and pay for the house, the 2001 Nord Lead 3 will come if you really want it to. Stay healthy 'n stay fabulous. 🤍🤘
The Dutch metal scene is very tight, and the guy on the keyboards is pretty much at the head of all of it. Joost Van den Broek produces just about every Dutch metal band and was given a Knighthood by the royal family.
Nice to hear this commenting. One of the best bands in the world. And of course the composer Arjen... \,,/ Do not forget to check out Star One and other Arjen's thingies...
Funny that you said that vocalist Robert Soeterbroek reminds you of David Coverdale. It so happens that Robert is the vocalist of Purple Shade. This is a coverband that covers Whitesnake en Deep Purple songs that were sung by David Coverdale or Glenn Hughes. Fun fact is that the bassist of Purple Shade is Rob van de Loo, the bassist of Epica. 🤘😎
Almost any title from Ayreon or Star One (another Lucassen's project) are amazing. Just have a look at Dreamtime, Earth that was, all Human Equation double CD, the Eye of Ra. 😉
@@SueSueandthewolfman Great reaction and thank you. Douwe Bob and Ilse de Lange did a fine job with Hurt in a female prison. Pay also more video attention to both singers with other songs I would say. Other suggestions are Waylon (Outlaw in 'Em) and Danny Vera (Roller Coaster).
Loving your reactions to the Ayreon gig. Wolfman might enjoy an inside behind the scene of the keyboardist studio, where the magic happens for Ayreon and Epica. ruclips.net/video/DbcP81GyN00/видео.html
For this is one of the ultimate Ayreon songs!!! I can hear it whole day and it will never tire me!
The album version rips some! Too.

From this concert, I would suggest - 'Amazing Flight in Space' and 'The Castle Hall', both feature Arjen, both from the Ayreon Universe concert

And what about "into the electric castle" live version. Fantastic songs
Amazing song, thank you very much for reaction. Arjen Lucassen is a fantastic composer. Greetings from The Netherlands
Musicianship was great. I love you!
Wolfman they are all four letter words - can’t - want - need. No swearing here ❤️🤘🎸🎻🇦🇺

This whole Universe concert is amazing. BTW did you recognise Floors sister Irene doing backing vocals?

After this great Ayreon performance I would recommend using next the correct video belonging to the used title.
Ahhh! I messed up, but I fixed the titles and Hurt will release tomorrow!

I messed up my titles but it's fixed now!
Okay, now I wanna know what vile video you watched.
it's so gross! we just rewatched it - omg - it's kermit the frog hurt
@@SueSueandthewolfman was gonna say it wasn’t that gross, but then, all of a sudden, it was.
💖👍 Verkeerde titel maar dat mag de pret niet drukken.
😂
@@SueSueandthewolfman Alright, everything back on track. A guess, the next reaction will probably be Hurt by Douwe and Ilse. You will love it.💕
Yes, wrong title. I was expecting a beautiful performance in a U.S. female correctional facility. But we got metal!! 😞
