    Wow... Like 30 shots!
That would have been an ENTIRE ROLL OF FILM!

That's a long time to be hanging around one subject to shoot. Still, being new to street photography, it may help with overcoming the fears involved in street shooting. As long as they get to talk tot he subject, which I'm sure happened.

Really good workshop! Eric is a great teacher and the guys (and girl) in the group were all great people. Really recommend it if you're into street photography.

I'm hoping that he came away with an award-winning shot cause he kept at it for almost 3 mins.

Since you come to Stockholm, why not come to Gothenburg???? I think it would be awesome, since I live here hehe. There is also quite a few narrow streets that are really busy which are perfect for street photography.

I think it's really important to familiar with your camera settings before approaching your subject. not standing in front of them changing the settings, that split seconds do sometimes killed the 'first instinct' of the shot, the original expressions of the person.

I'm a bit too shy to do the ask first thing. I'm all - look up and around, then aim the camera off somewhere, and then onto the person/scene for the photo.

It has to be fun, and you have to be bold, it is the most fundamental. :))

So a half-assed fashion style shoot of 60 shots of completely uninteresting people in a mall is the new street photography? Profound!

This is hard to watch..... Please bro this is not fashion photography in a studio. Its STREET. Take your shot and move on... Ruining the Art, the movement, the tradition...
This is harassment. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"

He talked to her before he shot a bunch, and then gave her his card afterwards. I bet after a while the person will forget they are being photographed and then you get some nice natural shots.

Kevin, the assignment on the first day was to take street portraits by first asking for permission and to interact with the subject. Also to work the scene and to take many shots. The next day the assignment was still street portraits, but then without permission or interaction. Two very different modes of operation, lots of fun, and in my view educational for street.

This is some stupid ass shit. These guys had to take a workshop to learn how to take photos of people? Why couldn't they just do it themselves? And what bad technique they have. They should've just taken the photo and scrammed but they chose to harass people.
