  • Join us as we start our journey back into 1/ 10 scale TC racing. This week we visited one of the newest RC cars clubs in the country. Indoor raceway Stevenage has been running since 2021 and there is a great bunch of RC enthusiasts driving multiple race categories.
    Tamiya stock
    Tamiya Modified
    Tamiya trucks
    Pro Touring cars
Therefore it was a great way for us to test our new touring car.
We plan to run in the Pro touring car class with a 17.5 turn brushless set up... We have the converted Race opt T3M full carbon 1/10 touring car. It is time to race at indoor raceway Stevenage.
But is it any good, lets see how we get on on the track.
Is this the best RC car chassis you can get for £300.
RACEOPT T3M conversion of the R3-G with low profile shock tower conversion and roll bar kit.
You will need to get the base R3G and Purchase Roll Bars Kit, 2021 Upgrade chassis kit and Low Profile Shock Conversion all for about £300.00. Or maybe just ask for what POPALONG RC got and they will know what you want.
    www.team-power...
Their is also a Facebook support group with over 1000 raceopt users who run the cars across different countries so you end up getting 24hours support.

Oh how I miss running on road touring cars. Here in the US it can be hard to find a good track that runs all the time.

You did pretty well with that car at a track you've not run at before, it did look pretty planted to be fair. It's my local club, it was great to see you guys, it's such a great atmosphere and most of us don't take it that seriously 😆 I've mostly run FWD cars, love them, so much fun but can be a lot more tricky to get right though. It'll be good to see you guys again!!

Nice work again chaps, I'm sure the TC will come good soon. We need to get you over to Kettering at some point, we've got a decent amount of TC's running and a very strong group of MTC's too. Hope to catch you at the Newark MTC Clubmans next month.

28 compound is normally the compound what's used at most indoor tracks as you guys have probably found out. I hope you didn't go for the extra light weight body 😬? Most clubs are going over to 17.5 for stock racing as well
