Hey Kern, appreciate your videos. I watched your older LPFP video talking about our cars can handle 650-700whp, but it seems like you're reaching LPFP issues below 650whp when you were tuning on Ethanol with your new turbo. I just bought a DAW Flowmax Turbo for the Gen2 B58 (It's the ultraflow version renamed to flowmax when they released the Ultraflow R and prior to releasing newgen). On my '20 M340i I'm really looking to hit whatever safe limits are, which is 600tq for our weaker ZF8s, but I'm unsure of our power limits due to fueling. I'll be upgrading my Intake Manifold and run PI + Flex Fuel sensor and really looking to get 600-650whp. If I need to upgrade LPFP for 600whp, I'll probably cut out PI and just run upgraded manifold (no PI) and run a low E20-25mix and probably shoot for 570-580 since the cost associated is just too high for that little of safe power gain on stock trans/motor. Do you think a LPFP is needed for 600whp? I'm on BM3, basic DP + E50/93 OTS tunes currently.
Informative video as always! Perfect technical level. Question why did you choose automotive relay instead of sold state relay? My tuner recommended the SS relay so Reflex could control secondary lpfp better for PI.
Because of how it works. That's what the kits will come with. From what I'm saying, solid state is only needed if you plan on varying the amount of output on the secondary pump. But with the reflex it's basically on and off.

for the last step can you posi tap into the motiv or is it both wires that need to be tied together
Nice video being that BM3 is coming with Rev2 I wonder how they’ll integrate PI and LPFP being that they won’t be using Motiv.
Yeah man, I'm waiting to send my ecu off because of wanting/waiting for this board.
what are your thoughts on the precisions 4.5 lpfp i bought it like a year or two still good in todays market?
hello kern! any updates prior to your spring install on the 340i? I know on your 440i you chose Coils so just wondering how springs were treating ya
thanks

Nice video but I have a question why you don’t use the reflex 12 volt.. you cut the wires if you have plug and play harness
