My most feared animal in the world is by far the leopard seal. I know I will likely never see one in my entire life but the idea of my last sight being a leopard seal smiling at me before it drags me 200ft underwater to completely devour me frightens me more than any other animal…

As there is a huge endless abundence of krill there making as much as 80% of there diet! Weddell and leopard seals have lower seal populations 800,000 and 350,000, no seals are truly over poppulated in antarctica just in some small arrias such as leopard seals going after fur seals.

Seals have been eating penguins for millions of years. It’s called nature. And the last thing nature needs is humans screwing up yet another ecosystem. There’s a reason why penguins give birth to so many young. It’s the same strategy as turtles. A few weak ones will get eaten. While the strong and successful ones live to mate again. Nature.
