Lea is still very much active. She was one of the coaches of The Voice Philippines and even was featured in a book that has A-Z names of the famous broadway Leading ladies and her last broadway show was awarded as Best revival on the Tony Awards.
She is the original Disney Princess, she sang the Aladdin song A whole new world.. She is also a Tony awardee and a broadway star.. She is in Les Misèrables
One of my favorite songs to sing on Easter. Her voice is so beautiful 💙
She's a queen, a goddess. You'll be surprised to know all her achievements. You can react to her singing with il divo "Time to say goodbye and Music of the Night" but you can start it with her "a whole new world singing with il divo more than 20 years after. She still has that Princessy voice. Or you can watch her performance of "reflection' from Mulan in the Disney Legend awards. Hoping to see more of Lea.
My favorite Disney Princess.. She was bestowed as a Disney Legend for being the singing voice of Princess Jasmine and Mulan and it's very rare that someone gets asked to sing twice. She is the only 2x Disney princess.
The Disney's Princess two times sang the original soundtrack of Aladdin and Mulan.
Lea (pronounced LAY-uh) is from the Philippines and has been performing since she was 7. She is the singing voice for Disney princesses Jasmine and Mulan. She became an international star when she starred in Miss Saigon in London and then on Broadway, winning all the major awards you could win. Her career has included theater, film, tv, albums and concerts. I can’t remember when this concert was, but I think it was when she was in her 30s. The video may have been posted 9 years ago but I think it’s even older than that. (You can find videos of her through the years! She is ever youthful! She just turned 50 earlier this year!)
You should watch Lea singing “On My Own” from the Les Miserables 10th Anniversary Dream concert (1995 - she was 24). It has 24 million views for a reason!

Howdy Albert and Cynthia! I know its been a while since I posted, but I wanted to share a couple suggestions, based on this song and genre. First, the version of this song that is my favorite is by Sandi Patty. She has a POWERHOUSE of a voice, so check out her singing this very song.
Second, I'm not sure if you have heard this song yet or not, but Morissette recently released a song called "Could You Be Messiah", but grab tissues if/when you watch it. Gary Valenciano originally made this song, with the lyrics being written by Freddie Santos. The video is a MUST WATCH, especially the ending. There are two videos, the one of Studio Sessions, and the One Take performance on Mori's channel. The Studio Sessions video is a broader production of the One-Take, but that is the only difference. In the One-take video, there is only one angle she is filmed the entire time, hence the "One-take".

This response video is very lame. The guy is immature and too critical about something so minor as the volume. Turn it up guy! It’s not hard.
I’ve seen professional vocal coaches watch the same video and were highly impressed with her singing. I’ve watched this 10-15 times this last week. Okay - I need my earphones on to hear it better. But if I was watching on the computer I could raise the volume on my external speaker very high. Get a clue. If you’re going to do response videos - try to grow up a little.
