Did you have a manipulation check? How do you tell if it works?THanks!

What do you recommend to do with the clicking times and response time?

I don't do anything with them. I just leave them in my dataset because they don't bother anything. Of course if you were doing an attention study they could be a key variable!

How would you then analyse this data using a multiple regression?

Hi Jake! I don't have videos on analysis, but there are a ton of great ones out there where they even walk you through how to read the output. Keep searching RUclips! You'll find some real gems! Good luck.

Hi Kathleen, thanks for getting back to me! I've done multiple regressions before so I'm familiar with how to interpret the output, but I'm just confused as to the variable view when the data has been downloaded from Qualtrics. Usually, I would input the data manually into SPSS, and so my variable view would look something like: HEXACO scores, gender, etc etc... However, with data exported directly from Qualtrics I have a variable for each answer, comprising around 130 items.
As for my independent variables, regardless of how many questions that one variable may contain, it's still just one variable to analyse, but with the variable view as it is there is one variable per question. I just don't know how to analyse that.
Do I need to go through each set of questions pertaining to the same variable and comprise them into a total score? (so sorry for the lengthy message, I'm panicking as this is for my dissertation! I've greatly appreciated your fast response thus far!)

      Cheers
