Great reaction. I worked at Disneyland in the early 80's on the computer systems, in summer the overnight shift, and on graduation nights KC & Sunshine band was always one of the acts the park had. Could hear them throughout the park!
Nice! Listening to KC & The Sunshine Band always reminds me of being a kid in the seventies. Their songs were always a favorite at the local roller rink. The phrase "get down" meant dancing as well as other things. 🤭The tempo on this live version is sped up a little from the studio version. That happens quite often in live performances. As bands get into the groove and the audience gets excited the tempo of the song tends to increase. Don Kirshner's Rock Concert was a live music television show that ran in the US in the seventies. It rivaled The Midnight Special but has largely gone forgotten since.
