Dave, you have surpassed yourself with that film. Some stunning rides beautifully shot., you even managed to combe your hair, and the locals understood you! It had the lot. Keep it up. Slightly worrying not an ounce of Shoddiness. Don't get above your station. Great job. Come and do a gravel ride film in Wales. Tim
Great video and views are amazing! I’m very tempted to plan a trip. Can you post the routes you rode? Especially the day 3 route which you planned to ride with the big climbs ☺️
Deeside Thistle are the big local road cc up here, I'm sure if you touched base with them they'd be happy to show you some of the routes taking in the best climbs. Failing that get in touch with Steve at REM bikes in Banchory or Christian at Bike Remedy in Stonehaven, both really friendly guys with loads of local knowledge, I'm sure they'd help you out.
I loved this video Shoddy ! Have you changed your mind on the Specialized Romin Mirror saddle ? I see in the video you were riding a different saddle, but still on the Ritchey Logic. I’m about to buy one and don’t want to make an expensive mistake . Thanks Dave
Hi. I'm using a new PRO saddle in the vid I have to test. But trust me the Mirror saddle has just been transfered to my gravel bike for the moment. They are great, expensive but great.
Great video, wish all the other cycling channels could put out videos as good as this instead of the usual crap about aero frames etc. just hope this wasn’t filmed in the summer time, leg warmers?
This is a great video, but please for the love of god, if I have to hear one more video about riding in Scotland with shite synthesiser bagpipes or stock pseudo-celtic folk plonkings on the soundtrack...
Its always a good day when Shoddy puts up a video !
Beautiful, but only Scotland could look cold during the UK’s hottest ever summer.
Shame they weren't out last week when it was 32°C. Cycled from Braemar to Pitlochry, absolutely glorious.
Now this is a real treat shoddy Dave is always great value and a national treasure !
That Ritchey Logic! ❤️

love shoddy's ritchey... excellent steed
It's a beauty ain't it. One of those bikes that just put a smile on your face.
Great video Shoddy. Thanks
more videos of amazing riding locales like this! love shoddy!
I agree. Dear CT send me to more lovely places. Kind regards Dave
Yup we love it up here, up until Monday it's been scorching hot as well
I really like seeing Dave on a steel bike with a frame pump! A ride in Wales next Shoddy Dave?
Wales would be ace. Only rode there a few times and it was awesome. As for the steel bike and frame pump, is there any other option?!
Shoddy's Queen jokes and groupset banter going down like a lead balloon. 😂👍
Really, they were that bad?! - Dave
@@VeloVeloVeloTV 🤭 Not sure about groupset but I reckon she'd definitely have a Chris King headset on her gravel steed. 👑
Lovely cinematic and im a simple man, i see shoddy i press like.
I'm very jealous!

I love Rowies
10:00 Was the restaurant open or closed?
We got there late, I'm pretty sure it was closed. Dan shame, I could have done with another butterie.
Great video, wish all the other cycling channels could put out videos as good as this instead of the usual crap about aero frames etc. just hope this wasn’t filmed in the summer time, leg warmers?
Man, that is summer in Scotland. In winter you can't even see the roads...
If it was warm and sunny it wouldn’t be Scotland!
