    These videos are suchhhhh quality I don't know why you aren't getting more views but I hope you keep making videos! Seriously freeCAD needs more tutorials like this to compete with Autodesk fusion 360. freeCAD is sooo much nicer in the sketcher.

    Great video.
    Thank you for sharing.
    As a long time Pro/E - Creo user I'm amazed what can be done with FreeCAD. An absolutely marvellous package.

    I've been trying to improve the sound quality of my videos, especially the volume once they're uploaded to RUclips. Do you still find them quiet? Let me know! :)

      I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial! And that's great to hear the sound works! 😁 I knew I wanted a 30mm radius decoration, so after that, it was just a case of figuring out how I wanted the line to flow...so a little bit of trail and error was required! 😅 I did start with the helix, mainly because I thought that was as close to a 3D line as I could get, but unfortunately I couldn't get the bottom point to end at 0,0,0 like the start, and that's where the b-spline helped me 😊

      I can confirm that the sound was at a confortable sound level. I think that you can go further and look at the sound normalization guidelines that RUclips provides : support.google.com/youtube/thread/3224290?hl=en&msgid=3228054

      thanks for the call to feedback. I aint an expert in audio, but i still guess it can be improved - like audio level can be raised a li'l bit, and there's also some background noise. i'll share a video which seemed good - although i havent got opportunity to use it myself.

    Hello Andrew, this was a great tutorial as always. I still have trouble understanding how the different work benches work together but your videos help a lot!

    • @AndrewCAD
      @AndrewCAD  4 года назад

      Hey Bruce! I'm glad you enjoyed the video 😁 The work benches are confusing at times, but they work really well together, and each have their own little features that make them awesome! 😁

      @@AndrewCAD Thanks for the reply and helping me on my cad journey. By the way, I followed the ornament in the latest version of 0.19 and it worked well for me. Keep up the great work.

    • @AndrewCAD
      @AndrewCAD  4 года назад

      No worries bud! 😊 My plan was to use 0.19, I was excited to finally use it, but unfortunately it flipped on me, so hopefully I'll get it sorted for the next video 😊 I'm glad it worked well though! 😁

    That's lovely, thank you. Do you have b-spline in part explained more in any videos? The numbers you've entered have to come from somewhere.Oh, it was Draft, not Part! Explains why I can't find anything about it 😬

    Nice tutorial and easy to follow. Everything worked for me except setting fuse to true in the array. My edges aren't catching for some reason. Any idea what the problem may be?

    Hi Andrew, Don't know if it is just me? The red constrains are mostly
    unreadable on screen in a video. The other day I saw a CAD video with
    black Constrains and they were al visible and completely readable.

    • @AndrewCAD
      @AndrewCAD  3 года назад +1

      Hey Pieter! Just changed the colour to black, and you're right, the red constraints are harder to see compared to black! Hopefully this will help in the next video :)
