What's the point of starting a new sequence of attack when you haven't had the chance to launch a bomb into his mouth. Kind of a poor design element for this boss but generally fun.
Yeah, he's not messing around anymore, in the two games prior, we NEVER see him angry, or even frown, he always has this pranky attitude. But he's pissed off now, he isn't satisfied with just having Luigi as a painting anymore, he wants this man DEAD.

Woah, didn't think about this before, but...In Phase 2 and 3 of the King Boo fight, the clones of King Boo both only have 2 teeth instead of real King Boo's 4 teeth. Now, didn't the original King Boo, from the first Luigi's Mansion have only 2 teeth, also his eyes weren't so noticeably bright as this modern day one's is. If this is a reference, nice callback nintendo! I know that style of King Boo is gone, which is good, since this bright angry eyed, purple King Boo is awesome, but glad you didn't forget your roots!
King Boo is the only boss I’ve seen that doesn’t directly attack Gooigi because he’s just sitting there, I mean Kruller actually had reason to attack Gooigi since Gooigi was in fact attacking him yet despite Gooigi being there King Boo attacks Luigi still

What a total letdown of a boss, there's so little to interact with and you literally are only required to use the vacuum and Gooigi to beat it Seriously, I was already so used to using the plunger, dark light, flashlight and burst, but literally the only interactivity is waiting untiil he throws the bombs at you to attempt to attack him Really wish Mario had been involved in this fight helping somehow, this was a snoozefest compared to the rest of the game's excellent bosses

I hadn't even brought this game yet and even I think this is the hardest boss in the entire Luigi's Mansion series by far just by watching, and even worst Daisy isn't even in this game. Luigi still hasnt gotten the opportunity to save the girl yet.
This boss really isn’t that hard and I’ve played all 3 games. I’ve never beaten the final boss on my first try before until this game. Adjust your controls if needed and work on your aiming
THIS LEVEL IS SO UNFAIR! I bought this game for my child and I haven’t been able to beat this in months! It’s infuriating how all of the controls conveniently stop working and there’s no time to do anything. The tongues are impossible to avoid! Ahh f this game!!
@@tommyhowell6955 Not talking for him, but the entire boss is simply waiting. There is NOTHING to do besides dodge until he throws a bomb to you. There is no way you can attack or do anything to force the bombs. And, meanwhile, he constantly laughs the whole time to the point in which I muted the TV. Also, there were times when he grabbed the bombs and, immediately after throwing them, instantly went to a shocking attack meaning I have to wait an entire wave of attacks again before another attempt. Terrible boss. Easily the worst in the game, but not because he is difficult to figure out or beat. He is simply just poorly designed.
All of his attacks deal 20 damage and your only source of health is the spiders the fake boo throws. Oh but dont go directly towards the spiders because then he will move on to a different phase and you will have to wait until he goes back to the bombs. The tounge part is practically impossible to predict and when you know where he is going to throw his tounge you have little to no reaction time due to how luigi takes a bit of time to start moving. This fight is pretty uninteresting compared to the other fights in the games which had an interesting twist that goes with the theme of the level. Also if the pull from the painting is stro g enough to rip trees of the ground, how come Luigi is fine?
See this Luigi’s mansion is a 50/50 for me some floors were really creative and had a good theme going for them and others were just lame. Plus there was nothing spooky about this game (extremely well lit in every area) Every time I go back and play the original THAT one feels like a haunted mansion from the music to the bosses it had so much charm. Many of the bosses just felt lack luster and most encounters just felt like they were there to drag out play time. Like seriously go back and play the first (if you have it) or watch a play through and tell me which one did it better. There is so much potential with the Luigi’s mansion titles I just wish they wouldn’t hold back.
Putting a timer on a boss that forces you to wait through a 45 second cycle for a chance to damage it is some of the worst game design ive ever seen from a nintendo game

King Boo is the only boss I’ve seen that doesn’t directly attack Gooigi because he’s just sitting there, I mean Kruller actually had reason to attack Gooigi since Gooigi was in fact attacking him yet despite Gooigi being there King Boo attacks Luigi still
So much padding in this game. It really felt like they ran out of ideas long before the end

Yeah, it has problems, and I think some of the attacks could be cooler, and bombs don't seem like an interesting way to beat King boo, but I've seen and played worse and it is still pretty cool

What a total letdown of a boss, there's so little to interact with and you literally are only required to use the vacuum and Gooigi to beat it
Seriously, I was already so used to using the plunger, dark light, flashlight and burst, but literally the only interactivity is waiting untiil he throws the bombs at you to attempt to attack him
Really wish Mario had been involved in this fight helping somehow, this was a snoozefest compared to the rest of the game's excellent bosses

Fucking loved every second of this fight. My favorite boss in the game because it’s fucking intense. Also, the King Boo in this game is without a doubt the scariest thing Retro Studios has done.
I hadn't even brought this game yet and even I think this is the hardest boss in the entire Luigi's Mansion series by far just by watching, and even worst Daisy isn't even in this game. Luigi still hasnt gotten the opportunity to save the girl yet.

This boss really isn’t that hard and I’ve played all 3 games. I’ve never beaten the final boss on my first try before until this game. Adjust your controls if needed and work on your aiming
After the end credits i wanted to explore the hotel more, but i got reset back to this bossfight. Is that normal?
Unlike the other games, this one doesn't auto save after the final boss. So you have to go to the save before following Mario.
This is pretty fun until it got completely unfair

Not talking for him, but the entire boss is simply waiting. There is NOTHING to do besides dodge until he throws a bomb to you. There is no way you can attack or do anything to force the bombs. And, meanwhile, he constantly laughs the whole time to the point in which I muted the TV. Also, there were times when he grabbed the bombs and, immediately after throwing them, instantly went to a shocking attack meaning I have to wait an entire wave of attacks again before another attempt. Terrible boss. Easily the worst in the game, but not because he is difficult to figure out or beat. He is simply just poorly designed.

All of his attacks deal 20 damage and your only source of health is the spiders the fake boo throws. Oh but dont go directly towards the spiders because then he will move on to a different phase and you will have to wait until he goes back to the bombs. The tounge part is practically impossible to predict and when you know where he is going to throw his tounge you have little to no reaction time due to how luigi takes a bit of time to start moving. This fight is pretty uninteresting compared to the other fights in the games which had an interesting twist that goes with the theme of the level. Also if the pull from the painting is stro g enough to rip trees of the ground, how come Luigi is fine?
See this Luigi’s mansion is a 50/50 for me some floors were really creative and had a good theme going for them and others were just lame. Plus there was nothing spooky about this game (extremely well lit in every area) Every time I go back and play the original THAT one feels like a haunted mansion from the music to the bosses it had so much charm. Many of the bosses just felt lack luster and most encounters just felt like they were there to drag out play time. Like seriously go back and play the first (if you have it) or watch a play through and tell me which one did it better. There is so much potential with the Luigi’s mansion titles I just wish they wouldn’t hold back.
Thanks to this fight my Switch Lite was bent and its screen was cracked. RIP.
