@@Mow.4show thanks bro! I haven't posted recently and don't really post much anymore on YT. I really enjoy these kind of videos though as I like to work and learn on older units myself. You are far better at it than me though lol
@ yeah it’s a hassle to do videos especially with the editing. I just started a couple weeks ago so I’m still in the learning phase. I haven’t made any thumbnails or anything. You must have a real job other than RUclips? Do you post anywhere else?
Awesome video. Half tempted to do this as well.Would you recommend this for a deep through cleaning? Or do you have any methods you recommend to make it look brand new?
The first Greensmower I ever bought was a GM 1600. For that mower, I just took painters tape and taped everything off that I could and repainted all of the red. I took the side covers off and repainted those red and if you do that it will pretty much look brand new. If you want the Reel to look brand new, you can paint it with black epoxy spray paint. Just clean it off really well tape up anything you don’t want painted and what I used was rustoleum regal red.
I have some JD’s that need to be done. I have restored roughly 12 of them. So you just might get that wish!! I just started the RUclips thing so I’m a noob
Hello I have a Greenmaster 800 how to reduce the cutting speed. It is too fast to walk behind. Should I change the throttle control cable? Change the cable for the traction drive level? Thank you!
@@andreofori-mattmuller7800 Hello! As far as the speed goes you cannot add anything to the mower to make it go slower. You can only lower your engine speed with the throttle. There is a clip rate kit to change the speed of the reel but no kit to adjust the speed of the mower.
Excellent job! Just subscribed, keep em coming!
Thanks!
@@BermudaBoss I just took a look at your page. I have watched some of your videos a while back. Good stuff. I subscribed to you also.
