    I had extra sets of wheels that came with the MJX buggy and the offset is perfect for this truck. They are a bit bigger than the stock but it doesn't make the car look ridiculous... looks good IMO! LOL! Lipo gives it that punch and makes it a bullet. I love it. I'll measure out the shocks and find a set somewhere. I'll do a video on that upgrade and we'll see if we can make this a great $150-ish budget basher. If you enjoy or found this informative, please toss a LIKE on this video and I would appreciate it even more if you subscribed. Thanks for watching and more great MRC videos are coming!

    Ive got 2x of these "for the kids". They get lots of use, we do lots of trail driving and the battery lasts 30-45mins. Anyway, the steering doesn't turn right very good on either. I've now replaced both cars steering servo, even without out it being mechanically connected, the old and new motor doesn't turn right well. Ive changed the ESC in one, same result. Ive got 3x remotes that work for these cars, also same result. Any tips please?

    • @mikesrccorner
      @mikesrccorner  7 месяцев назад

      Hey Sean! Mine turns pretty good. Did you adjust the steering Dual Rate (D/R) knob on the radio? I don't think the radio has end point adjustments that I know of. Maybe also disconnect the servo horn from the servo with the car on, center the servo with the radio steering trim, then line up the steering to be straight as possible and put the horn back on and tighten it. You want only minor adjustment on the steering trim on the radio to get it dead straight. Just some ideas that come to mind. I hear quite a bit about this car and no one else really has mentioned to me about steering issues. Mostly everyone talks about wheels, batteries and shocks.

    • @SeanGT83
      @SeanGT83 7 месяцев назад

      @@mikesrccorner thanks for the detailed response. I had taken that approach when installing the 2nd servo into the 2nd car. Full lock left, than to right it'll generally give full steering, but straight ahead to right and it's minimal. And repeat RH turns it slows/doesn't steer, but lift is fine. That's with servo connected to ESC with no servo horn as you've described. Oh well, the kids will learn the Scandinavian flick 🤭.
      Thanks again, and great vid.

If you go on china sites they don't measure all the same, so make sure it's 65mm from hole to hole. You have some play, you can go smaller (62-65mm) or bigger (65-70mm).
