You removed all my doubts and queries on the D-901 set against the D-368. Moreover, performance being the same for both radios (as opined by you) I was particularly interested in knowing which radio has better audio quality. You have put it out clearly. Finally, the D-368 has FM Stereo capability which the D-901 does not.
I wonder how it performs with a longwire SW antenna or a loop AM antenna? Lacks 80 meters and also some American domestics in the 5000k hz and +7600khz range.
You can, but not recommended. they will be connected in parallel and the 18650 is 3.7v while the D-cells are 3v, which will kill the D-cell batteries. With the D-cells inserted (assuming they are alkaline), do not try to connect the USB cable as it will try to charge them. Also, the light does not work on D-cell's and needs 3.7v. It's recommended to use either the 18650 or alkaline batteries, not both at the same time.
I have really enjoyed mine. With additional antenna attachment it works very well.

Great with this radio for shortwave and bluetooth for classic rock and classic country.
It's not a bad low-cost receiver, but I think I will pass. Thanks for the review.
I use it in the kitchen to listen to the FM and MW. I love that LED light, and bluetooth option in it.
A shame. It would be nice if they’d come out with a nice portable that is a decent performer.
Good review.
📻🙂
I would buy it but the flashlight on the side cheapens it, to me. I did order the D-368 can't wait.
It's about $24.00 US on Amaon, and also at about same price for it with a 16GB Micro SD card, which is unusual for the price.

I enjoyed the honest review. Thank you.

I wish it had a dial light and a tone knob.
Great video Gilles. Are you still doing your Wednesday evening live show?
Can this radio perform better than the d-368 using an external antenna? Thanks
can we install both type battery at same time?
I assume you can install both at the same time, but which battery does it default to?

5.5 that was harsh 😢
Meh, kitchen performer
