    I had my second interview with the AFLAC regional Manager yesterday and she called me the same day and told me that I was hired and I’ll be joining the AFLAC family soon after I get my license I’m so excited!

    You were an awesome Aflac agent mentor. Who really helped me to know exactly how Aflac works, and what my job will consists of. I love helping people and the community and protecting them from ruins. Whether it be financially, health wise or physically etc... I wish you I could have you as my DSC mentor and walk the strip with you and prospect local business owners when I join Alfac. But unfortunately, I don't live in Kentucky :(
    But thanks for the RUclips mentoring video on "How a day in the life of Aflac agent is and what they do." I feel a lot more eager to working with Aflac and less anxious and nervous. So, you were fabulous and thanks again.😊

    I have to say... I have a lot family at the bid tado corporate office and their sales technique is stomp on their soldier uncle/brother that served as a proud soldier and say "you don't count, the only thing that matters in this world is we have a career at AFLAC". I share this with hurting families of soldiers and soldiers all the time. PTSD can make it hard to get a Big Fat Corporate Career!

    Hi. I love your videos and was watching them before I joined Aflac a little over a month ago. Do you just park somewhere and walk around strip malls to prospect? Do you look at the Do Not Contact list as you're walking to businesses? I'm cold calling for now until I can get some traction.

    If working for Aflac is so damn wonderful, why does the company spam people with exactly zero experience or expressed interest in selling insurance with phony "interview" requests (which are really sales pitches)? Shouldn't such a great employer be swimming in resumes from people eager to work there? And why the euphemisms in these spam emails, "benefits consultant" or "business to business consultant" instead of "insurance sales?"

    • @JWUBB2019
      @JWUBB2019 6 лет назад +6

      Recruiting for any industry now-a-days is actually pretty challenging. It's not as easy as opening a door for someone and giving them an opportunity. Benefits Consulting is the primary role of an Aflac Agent. Once you gain rapport with a business as well as the owner, you absolutely become a B2B consultant on their behalf. It's hard to present this to someone in one wordy job post. So to reach folks from different walks of life to see what an opportunity this can be for the right candidate - a large net is cast. It's not for everyone, but the insurance provided through Aflac is such a great thing - we wish there was an easier way for folks to hear about it. So yes. Some email campaigns can look spammy. It's a learning curve for us all. :)

    • @argelbargel7680
      @argelbargel7680 6 лет назад +1

      Bullshit. I have no interest or experience in selling insurance, yet I'm emailed over and over by Aflac, which wants me to come in for an "interview." If that's not spam, nothing is. And you can call it whatever you like; cold-calling HR personnel to sell them insurance is insurance sales. Again, why is such a wonderful employer so desperate for "employees" (really contractors who work entirely on commission) that they contact people like me? My background is in teaching and law librarianship. What about that screams "insurance salesman?" Shouldn't Aflac have more submitted resumes than it knows how to handle? That's the case with most reputable companies who advertise open positions.

    • @JWUBB2019
      @JWUBB2019 6 лет назад +6

      Lol. You clearly have never worked in any HR or recruiting capacity. And that's ok. You get your opinion from your point of view. And actually people from the education industry do really well in this position! Take care Angel!

    • @argelbargel7680
      @argelbargel7680 6 лет назад +2

      Sure, I know lots of teachers whose dearest desire is to hassle strangers on the phone all day on commission. And save your snide, condescending crap for the suckers who respond to your spam. Why has no industry apart from insurance companies EVER sent me an unsolicited spam email? Your claim that this is standard practice is an obvious lie. When I am looking for work, I send my resume to firms who've advertised positions. It's pretty simple, even for me, a dullard with a Ph.D. and two Master's degrees. Why does Aflac have to bother people who have no expressed interest in selling their product? The insurance industry really does draw from the bottom of the barrel. I'll forward my next Aflac spam to you.

      @Argel.... so sad... you don't seem to get how the internet works..... Don't be so self-centered that you'd think the message was actually sent directly to you, lmao!! It's called marketing..... when you have such an awesome product and lots of people who want it... and not enough agents to sell it... you send mass emails (or whatever it takes!) thus, attempting to get the word out..... Seems you didn't learn how the internet works...... You'd think, someone with a Phd/multiple masters... would've figured that out by now!!! tsk..tsk..tsk..........smh, lol..... GOOD DAY!!
