This is an amazing tutorial thank you. I had no idea you could change items onto different mats and love the parchment paper idea for cutting the foam tape! x
Great tutorial!! I tried once , but couldn’t get the acetate to glue down to the card stock. Glitter was everywhere! How many layers do you usually do in a 3d topper?
Thank you! I was using Aleene’s tacky glue and didn’t have any problem. For this kind of cake topper, I usually do 3 layers for the big number. And for the images (crown and name), I do 2 layers.
Thank you! ❤️ And thank you for asking because I forgot to put it in the description box 😅. I got the acetate off Amazon. Here’s the link - amzn.to/3v2OKHJ (affiliate link)
Hi, while transferring the sequence into the cardstock, make sure that the protective film of the double sided foam tape is still on. After transferring, you can then peel it off. Also, I would fold a piece of paper into half, put the sequence on it, then slowly pour it into the cardstock. Hope that helps..
I actually just used a clear balloon stand. Some use lollipop sticks. But you can use an actual cake topper stick, here’s the link if you’re interested www.amazon.ca/SAVITA-12inch-Acrylic-Plastic-Projects/dp/B097BJSYWH/ref=mp_s_a_1_21?crid=H6AWE27Q539N&keywords=clear+acrylic+cake+topper&pscroll=1&qid=1650155064&sprefix=clear+acrylic+cake+toppe%2Caps%2C98&sr=8-21&wIndexMainSlot=23
Thank you! I just used a transparent tape. If you don’t want the tape to be visible, you can also cut another layer of cardstock for the back and glue it to the back. Hope that makes sense

My sequence sticks to the tape on the side any tips to prevent?

What is the stick called once the topper is completed
I actually just used a clear balloon stand. Some use lollipop sticks. Where did you get the clear stick to hold the shaker?
Hi, you can use a clear/acrylic lollipop stick. I used a clear balloon stand because that was all I had available at the time.
Beautiful! How did you attach the stick? Many thanks
Thank you! I just used a transparent tape. If you don’t want the tape to be visible, you can also cut another layer of cardstock for the back and glue it to the back. Hope that makes sense
