Aidan as Five was always the best character. So believable as the old man in a boy's body. Wonderfully sarcastic and clever. The writers gave him garbage to work with in season 4.
In Reginald’s defense, in this timeline his wife was alive and he must have developed sentimental feeling which made weakness when he actually starts caring a little, and his story with viktor was actually pretty decent.
Jennifer being a plot device is fine, characters being plot devices is common in fiction The issue with her is that they forgot to make her a character
good tier list other than Five not being in the electric chair. he couldn’t control his powers for the entire season except for maybe a couple times. the only cool thing he did was find the subway which was an accident. he got lost with Lila and had that whole weird thing. when he found a way to get out he hid it from her for i think it was 2 months. he had zero respect for Diego (who has kids btw) and on top of that he wanted to completely abandon the rest of his siblings. then after Lila gets pissed at him and goes back to Diego, he comes to the conclusion that they all need to die and be wiped from existence.
Netflix recently released some cut scenes that massively improve Klaus and Luther. Its baffling that they decided to cut these scenes as they round out their character arcs and discuss exactly what you say were the main issues with them this season. Luther's is a conversation with Diego about leadership and Klaus goes to AA after being saved from the grave, a very touching scene
@@tioraidh-tux for sure, im happy they finally abandoned the incest subplot after two seasons and he was actually able to grow a bit as a character but romance was still a crutch for his character to stand on (through sloane) even though their relationship was sweet. idk for me the one good part of s4 was diego and luther reconciling after so many years but even then they cut out a really good deleted scene showing their growth to make room for the disgusting five x lila plotline.
I really don’t understand why everyone seems to have a blind spot for Lila… she straight up groomed 5 and played her hard working husband like he didn’t provide for the family. And what mothering did she do? besides smoking weed at her kid’s party where she got the wrong piñata. And she only remembered she had a family after finding Five’s notebook. She’s a bad mother and a worse wife. She should’ve got the chair.
I think Abigail deserves the chair because they were a character hyped up since season 1 and so many of the greater mysteries of the show are related to her and we end up learning nothing also Sly would’ve been more interesting if he weren’t Abigail
If Allison didnt have to whisper the i heard a rumor, like instead of looking at dude and thinking, she should have at least got his attention and shout it at him. And that was really the only scene she got to use her powers which was lame, she should have rumored a stray dog to help clause out of the grave. Honestly i see the creator had points he wanted to focus on, but so much was pushed to the side and the side stuff is like 60% of the screen time so it felt really unfinished.
Completely disagree with the Allison take. Going from having to say it out loud to thinking it is a very natural progression. Why would she go from having to whisper it to having to shout it? that's a nerf lol. And again, only 6 seasons. Why would you introduce a stray dog and the ghost dog? That's just meaningless. She already was told where he was buried.
@@Nu2Morrow it took clause hours to dig the hole, granted it was packed dirt, so would take longer than the loose dirt she removed. But she got him out way too quick. How about the ghost dog takes possession of a stray dog then. If that's one of clauses new powers. It would also help develop clause as a character for getting himself out of a situation instead of Allison coming to save him. Something they touched on in the season. They also never were told what grave, just the graveyard . Then they just heard the ghost barking, and they never made it clear that they could understand what the barking meant, they just go "do you hear barking? Quick dig here" if a possessed stray dog was at least digging over the grave they could put 2 and 2 together. They're practically just guessing which grave. Also whispers requires you to be next to their ear, so being across the room would be a buff not a nerf.
@@MashedMangos22 The hopelessness of Klaus is what makes his character. Turning him into another Luther would be the real assassination of the character. The cyclic dysfunction and reverting back to the same old family that ruins the world is what the show is about.

And here he has the ability to save himself yet Allison comes to his rescue. This season It's like they were hit with the MIB nuerolizer and had their character development erased.

I don't hate Viktor but Viktor is the most 1 dimensional character Ngl, He is really just “my dad sucks, I am going to be angry at my dad and blame him for everything even if this guy isn't even my dad and he just looks like him” like I understand the trauma of the 7 but bro its the last season didn't we already move past this in season 3 like why are we backtracking 💀😭

First 2 episodes were decent. Episodes 3-5 felt unnecessary to the story.
