After I had covid in September 2021, around 2 months later I started getting serious pains near my chest area and towards my ribs and towards my breast bones. The pain was that bad me and my mum thought I was having a heart attack. Turns out covid gave me costochondritis, which was finally going away with ibuprofen. I still am suffering from long term covid :(

I just want to TRULY thank all the scientists like very single body and brain that worked endlessly all over the world to develop the vaccine , I know it’s crazy right now all this debate about it but I truly put my faith and trust in the science. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart . When covid started family members in Mexico got it and weren’t so lucky a year later my entire house hold had it (last week) and because we are all vaccinated we had a range of mild to slightly more sever symptoms but nothing bad enough to take any of us to the ER . I was only in pain for two days . Had we not had our vaccines (both) I don’t know or can even imagine how it could have been . So THANK YOU . Please know you ARE appreciated, regardless of what others may say . You saved lives. 🙏🏼

I'm just getting over it. My first symptoms started on a Monday in December and by Tuesday I had full blown pneumonia. I've never been so sick in my entire life. I'm still exhausted, still coughing, and still extremely achy, but I'm alive. I am fully vaxxed and boosted. Doctor said that was the only reason I avoided a stay in the hospital. It's bad. The headache and sleeplessness are quite gnarly. You don't want food and have to force liquids. Stay safe. Don't play around with this. I was lucky; my childhood friend died of C19 related pneumonia the same week I was diagnosed.

I had covid for about 2 weeks. It wasn't difficult, first 3 days were stuffy nose, cough and "sore" throat. After the first few days the "sore" throat was gone. Still had a small cough and stuffy nose was getting better. I never had a fever during it either. My sense of taste and smell went in and out for 2 days but came back the 3rd day. I guess my body was fighting covid like crazy. This past week I've been feeling 100% better!

For me it was the mildest cold of my life. The most significant symptom for me was eye pain that lasted 5 days. Most of the other symptoms were gone day 3.

I caught it December 29 and started feeling symptoms January 1st. First 3 days were the worst. Had a 39C fever, headache and chills. I would often put a cold damp cloth on my forehead which would become warm after like 2-3 minutes. Had partial loss of taste around day 4 to day 6. Had flu-like symptoms afterwards. What was weird is that I tested positive on December 12 (couldn't find a pcr test reservation beforehand). Not sure if it was covid all along or I got an infection elsewhere. Anyway, been home since January 1st and ending quarantine on the 17th.

My mom just got diagnosed with COVID yesterday. She lives alone but she had just been in remission for breast cancer 1 year ago so I told her to call her cancer doc. She says she just had a little cough and itchy throat, and at highest 100 temp, thing is Im glad I made her get the 2 vaccines because it could’ve been worse. She’s only been sick for 3 days and is already getting better.
I told her she’s so tough because she beat cancer AND covid lol

I just got sars cov 2 but it was mild (im fully vaccinated)
First 2 days was the worst it made me feel weak. Headache and my temp was high. I lost sense of taste and smell for 4 days which sucked then I started to cough 5 days after the first symptom. Luckily I have a healthy lung ive never drank any alcohol ever I didnt experience any shortness of breathe

I got COVID before. Here’s what happened.
my head and eyes started hurting really bad, I was shivering for no reason, it wasn’t cold.
I was lucky enough to skip school the next day.
I was better the next day, my dad got me a self COVID test.
it came out positive.
the rest of my time having it I was just really tired and coughed everywhere. My sister got it worse as she threw up a lot, but it was overall better than the latest cold I’ve got….

This is so true your body has automatic functions and things we can do we take for granted you can ask any stroke patient when they lose the ability to use or control one side of their body how hard it is to retrain the body to make a connection to the brain just to get the movement on that limb back. It can take months before you are able to be able to hold things yet on a healthy person this movement is automatic.I can’t help but be amazed at what the brain can do

I went two years and managed to escape Covid but caught it last summer: it was AWFUL. The nausea and fatigue were the worst. No joke.
I didn’t get tested for Covid but I have a strong feeling I had it because I felt fatigue, chills and body aches for more than 2 weeks!

I was intubated, on the vent, placed in a drug induced coma for two weeks, in the hospital for a month in December 2020. I remember feeling so horrible, that I wanted to die. You wouldn’t believe how weak you become after no movement for two weeks. I couldn’t hold my phone in my hand, I couldn’t stand up or walk. Your brain says you can, and thinks you can, but your body says no way Jose, you’re not going anywhere! It’s pretty crazy loosing two weeks of your life and hearing about how close to death you were, while having no idea any of it was happening. I feel bad my family had to go thru that.
That does suck. Are you better now? I got covid twice within 2 mos of each other. My last bout was Dec 23, 2021. I still don't feel right.

I do not wish this to anyone, the first time I got the headache was unbearable, I felt my body cold even though I had a fever, I did not feel like eating or doing anything, then came the panic attacks that all this caused me for not being able to smell or have taste buds I ate something bad and gave me an extra vomit, I must say that over demanding me at school aggravated it.
They were going to give me the 2nd dose a day before I tested positive, I told my dad to take care but he never listened to me, sometimes it hurts so much that I want to cry.
High School AP Biology class still has this implanted in my brain 20 years later

Hey guys, I have a question. Have any of you who were previously diagnosed with clinical depression and after recovering from covid, have your depression worsened like 10 fold?
I had covid in April last year and to this day I suffer from bouts of deep, deep depression like I had never felt before in my life. Sometimes in my worst days I even have su¡c¡dal thoughts! It's been terrible!! My psychiatrist had to up my antidepressants dosage and I now go to therapy more frequently.
This nasty virus did something to my brain *9 months ago* and I still haven't recovered from it. When will it ever go away? Let's share our stories, guys 😭
not in the same boat as you, although i have been diagnosed with clinical depression since a child and recently got covid, but have no long term side effects. i would seriously look into "long covid" and many of the people through that are sharing their difficulties may have help for you
I got covid in 2020 and I could barely smell or taste normally for the whole of 2021. I fell into a deep depression leading me to quit my internship and other responsibilities. I've always been depressed but this is very different. I'm scared

@@immxrtalsoul6954 Oh no, that must be awful! So your depression was caused because you lost your sense of taste and smell, right? As for me, it's just the depression that got really bad after having covid.
Have you sought medical help? I heard there's treatment for losing sense of taste and smell.
Think about all the people who got COVID-19 but can no longer comment on this video because they're dead. Don't get survivorship bias just because you only see people who had relatively mild symptoms. Be vaccinated

I got covid 19 once and my head hurted alooot and i was almost gonna faint when i went to the doctor my parents dragged me there and my head was looking down and i couldnt feel my legs and then we heard i had corono virus and i spread it all over the house and my whole family got it except my sister bc she stayed in her room all night i got it when the first week of real school happened and i was 10 years old but now im 11
I know a 96 year old man who tested positive with no symptoms whatsoever.

Just finished my quarantine post testing positive for covid and I must say the first few days were brutal. I had really bad body aches, a headache, chest tightness, a stomach ache, stuffed nose, coughing, a loss of appetite for a couple days, fatigue and what I find to be really weird, a very sore neck. Those days were so emotionally draining. Since I am fully vaccinated my estimated recovery time was only a week. I started feeling symptoms last Tuesday and I'm feeling back to normal!! I know the symptoms range from mild to severe but hang in there guys!! Drink lots of water, eat healthy, and keep the positive mindset!!

I didn’t loose any sense of smell or taste when I had Covid for 5 days but I did have a horrible fever, headache, and joint/body aches 😭 the first 3 days were horrendous but then the last 2 were completely fine. I had no symptoms and I tested negative so yay but stay safe out their because some people are experiencing it way worse than some of us lucky people 😅😅😅
I started getting headaches last week Tuesday, Friday morning woke up with a slight sore throat by 1130 am started getting fever left work by the time I got home 2 hrs later had 39.2 temp. 102.5f saturday tested positive same symptoms as u. Quite an emotionally drain even though fully vaccinated oxygen level went down to 86 started feeling better yesterday. Drank herbal tea , plenty vitamins and time spent in sun. Mind u I am 66 yrs old and surf 5 days a week I felt my fitness helped a lot. Still feeling slightly sick and fatigued. Bless

same lol. i’m vaccinated and started showing symptoms monday night. bad tuesday with fever and chills so bad i was on the couch bundled up in a blanket and hoodie with heat on 74 😂. also had headache and some mild body aches. 3rd day was still bad but getting better with the same symptoms. 4th & 5th day i only had cough and runny nose. i was cleared to go back to work on my 5th day since i didn’t have a fever for two days. now it’s been 9 days and i have an ear infection because of covid 😬.
my boyfriend is not vaccinated and started having symptoms friday with fever, chills, headache, mild loss of taste and smell, and some ear pain too. no longer has a fever two days after and only cough and pain in ears now.
pretty sure we had the omicron strand bc it was very mild besides the first two days
I continued running cross country distances while I had covid.
I think it helped me recover quicker.
Praise the LORD for creating running motion.

It has been proven that it will not hit us this April. It will be too close to Earth on April, 4xcloser in a few decades, and then 16xcloser in a century, and will probably hit Earth next century. So scientists will be conducting studies when it passes In April to try to stop the next time around.

Reading all the posts from people sharing their experience reminds me of the common cold, a bad head cold and or the flu. Difference now is that someone coined and named it a cool catch phrase and what used to be a cold or the flu etc is now a media sensation and a pharmaceutical company darling.

I was sick with covid for about 8 days recently, felt way better and normal for 3 days then started feeling sick again and now with no taste and smell on day 4. Never was a symptom when super sick with covid.
