Othman is durys boy. If he doesn't make the roster this year. Their is a problem with development of the prospects and the rangers are infamously known for botching draft picks or not getting the most our of players. Usually it's your late draft picks that become legends for the rangers.
I didn't watch any of the games but listened to a bunch of stuff.
1. I'm happy edsteom is the mvp here, he is better then rempe. Just doesn't fight. This just makes chytyl 10x more expandable. I like him but that cap hit has to go for being a mediocre 3rd liner. Well it doesn't help we only have 2 scoring lines but that's a different story.
2. Okay here we are again. Member when cam talbot replaced an injured Hank? At that time I was like look, you can get 2,3 nice pieces for hank, let's just roll with talbot and sell high... I actually talked to our legendary stan flesihmen and said hank wants to retire a ranger.... and then signed with the caps. That was a shocker to see. Especially to a big time rival at that time. So yes let's have this new garrand guy a shot and get rid of igor before we give him that 10mil he wants.

I was the only one screaming to get rid of Hank instead of giving him all that money. Talbot would have worked out just fine and we would have had money to spend on other players. Hanks contract killed the Rangers, and they are going to do it again with Igor. The only difference this time is that we don't have a Talbot waiting in the wings.
